Man's Greatest Burden Is Unfulfilled Potential
Dan Peña is an American high-performance business coach whose straight talking style has been inextricably linked with London Real since he began mentoring the founder and host Brian Rose three years ago.

But their relationship is anything but simple, and can often times been caustic, confrontational, and downright nasty.

00:00:00We all have a shadow, a figure within us, we try to cover up.
00:00:30That dark side of our personality.
00:00:36Selfish.
00:00:39Ruthless.
00:00:42Cruel.
00:00:44Ecocentric.
00:00:47We all have it.
00:00:51Yes, even you.
00:00:54You know you're not that nice.
00:00:59Tell me, what are you hiding?
00:01:05Which mask are you wearing today?
00:01:11That nice version of you?
00:01:13The person who wants to be liked?
00:01:16The one who goes along?
00:01:21What if I told you?
00:01:23You can use your shadow to transform.
00:01:27Go into the fear.
00:01:29Embrace it.
00:01:31Channel it.
00:01:33Dance with it.
00:01:35Maybe even become it.
00:01:41How limitless would your life be?
00:01:51You're a cunt, Brian, not me.
00:01:55Explain.
00:01:57You're weak.
00:01:59And you're showing me I'm weak.
00:02:00And you want these people to like you.
00:02:02And you're telling me I'm weak on that email.
00:02:05Yes.
00:02:06Because you love me, because you care.
00:02:07Absolutely.
00:02:08Thank you very much.
00:02:10You have no idea how limitless it is when you're not afraid of what other people think
00:02:17or say.
00:02:18And you can be more than you are.
00:02:20If these little cunts think that you're something now, I see you a thousand times more.
00:02:26See, they have low standards, these fucking weenies to watch this fucking thing.
00:02:32I don't.
00:02:33I know what you can be.
00:02:35They think you're a big fucking deal.
00:02:37I know you're not.
00:02:39And down deep inside, Brian, you know that I'm closer to being right than they are.
00:02:50Today I'm traveling back to the place where my life changed.
00:02:56To see the man I hate.
00:03:01My mentor.
00:03:03Dan Pena.
00:03:06The 50 billion dollar man.
00:03:12A figure born out of the wildest American dreams.
00:03:16Or nightmares.
00:03:21His grandparents crossed the border illegally from Mexico.
00:03:24His father was a cop.
00:03:27And some say an assassin for the CIA.
00:03:31Dan grew up in the barrio of East Los Angeles.
00:03:34Where he learned the concept that will mark the rest of his life.
00:03:38I'd rather be dead than poor.
00:03:43Dan was always where the action was.
00:03:45First, the military.
00:03:49Next, Wall Street.
00:03:52Then, the oil business.
00:03:55You name it, Dan would seek it out and conquer.
00:04:01He is rich, arrogant, controversial, rude, violent, politically incorrect.
00:04:07A climate change denier.
00:04:10And an early Trump supporter.
00:04:14If you hate something in this world, it's very possible that Dan embodies it.
00:04:20His life is a constant adrenaline rush.
00:04:23In 72 years, he has amassed more money than he can spend in 10 lifetimes.
00:04:30These days, he teaches people how to be just like him.
00:04:35At his castle in Scotland.
00:04:37He calls it QLA.
00:04:41The Quantum Leap Advantage.
00:04:44His seven-day seminar.
00:04:46Where he's known to make grown men cry.
00:04:50And yes, he seriously has his own castle.
00:04:56The truth is, Dan changed my life.
00:04:59But that was never supposed to happen.
00:05:03Merry Christmas to you too.
00:05:06Uh, and all you poor fuckers out there.
00:05:11You know?
00:05:13And, um, we're gonna show...
00:05:16That's, uh, pan down.
00:05:18Move a little, move.
00:05:20That's what Christmas is supposed to look like, you poor fucks.
00:05:23And if it doesn't look like this, there's about 300 presents here.
00:05:28If something ain't right if your Christmas doesn't look like this.
00:05:40My name is Brian Rose.
00:05:42And I'm the founder and host of London Real.
00:05:45Every week I broadcast important stories.
00:05:49Curated from the greatest minds on the planet.
00:05:52I'm trying to make the world a better place.
00:05:54Today, I'm taking the same train I took two years ago.
00:06:00When I decided to undertake an experiment.
00:06:03To be mentored by Dan Pena.
00:06:07I recorded everything.
00:06:10I thought it would be amusing.
00:06:14It wasn't.
00:06:16Dan stands for everything I hate.
00:06:20That's why I haven't spoken to him in a year.
00:06:26He only cares about one thing.
00:06:28Money.
00:06:32In the last 20 years, his mentees have created over $50 billion of wealth.
00:06:37The top performers get immortalized with their picture in his coveted Hall of Fame.
00:06:46It's the wet dream of every one of his minions.
00:06:52That wall represents everything that's wrong with this world.
00:06:57And now, he wants to put an E on it.
00:07:01But I'm not a trophy.
00:07:06We have a number of announcements that we'll be making this week.
00:07:10But one of the most important is the inductee of a new, a brand new Hall of Famer.
00:07:15Our very own, and I might add, the quickest to make it to the Hall of Fame since he attended the seminar.
00:07:24And he's very truly yours, Brian QLA Rose.
00:07:28What's happening here is that I'm paying for my sins.
00:07:32Because I introduced Dan Pena to the world.
00:07:36And made him a YouTube sensation.
00:07:38I opened Pandora's box.
00:07:45And I'll probably go to hell for it.
00:08:03Not long ago, the act of putting on a suit made me feel sick.
00:08:09It was a reminder of my past.
00:08:12A memory of all the things I did wrong.
00:08:19Back at the castle, it's just as I remembered.
00:08:24Everyone is walking on eggshells.
00:08:27Putting on big smiles for the old man.
00:08:3823 years ago, I thought they'd be copying me in months.
00:08:43And they're still not copying me.
00:08:45Nobody teaches it because none of the cocksuckers know how to do it.
00:08:49Am I the greatest that ever lived?
00:08:52You motherfucking right I am.
00:08:54I proved it to myself, not that I needed any fucking validation.
00:08:58Now, I expect you to go out and put it into use.
00:09:03I demand.
00:09:05And one of the reasons, and I pointed at the Hall of Fame.
00:09:08The reason those guys are up there and the gals is because they stayed focused longer.
00:09:13Tonight's a very special night because we're going to have an inductee to the Hall of Fame.
00:09:17But I was saving him for last.
00:09:21He was here two years ago almost to the day.
00:09:26Two years ago to the day.
00:09:28The wealth.
00:09:31The materialism.
00:09:33The fake faces.
00:09:35I know this world very well.
00:09:38I know where money and egotism will lead.
00:09:42You know, I have a bit of an interesting story.
00:09:45I usually don't share a lot on this show, but I think I'm going to share it with you a little bit.
00:09:48Okay.
00:09:49You know, I didn't always spend my time speaking with interesting people like yourself.
00:09:53I used to work on Wall Street in Manhattan.
00:09:57And I was actually an engineer by trade.
00:09:59And you could argue that I could have gone on and built, you know, domes at the Venus Project.
00:10:03But I went straight to Manhattan.
00:10:04I was sold kind of this Wall Street dream.
00:10:07And you see these ultra-rich pieces you're constantly kind of advertised to.
00:10:12And you just, I don't know, I think it all came down to me when I got caught up in a further wave of greed and the dot-com boom.
00:10:19I saw the Trade Center come down in front of me.
00:10:21I was living in the East Village.
00:10:23And I must say that my kind of capitalistic dreams definitely went to a place where I think that we should be doing something different.
00:10:34I was ashamed.
00:10:37Couldn't explain to myself how I ended up the typical greedy banker.
00:10:40How could I spend ten years thinking only about me?
00:10:47Doing work I hated, only to have more money.
00:10:51I'm supposed to be a good guy.
00:10:54How did this happen?
00:10:57I just wanted more, more, more.
00:11:03Did that ever happen to you?
00:11:04I had everything.
00:11:09I had nothing.
00:11:11I was disconnected from what made me human.
00:11:15Who could I blame?
00:11:17Was it advertising?
00:11:19My upbringing?
00:11:21The American dream?
00:11:23I couldn't process it all.
00:11:25So I began drinking myself to death.
00:11:28Finally, I had to admit it.
00:11:34The selfishness, the arrogance, the egotism were a part of me.
00:11:39It was my fault.
00:11:41That was a bad day.
00:11:43But also the day my freedom began.
00:11:46So I walked away from it all.
00:11:49I started London Real.
00:11:52In a desperate effort to purge myself of my sins.
00:11:59And guess what?
00:12:01It worked.
00:12:05I felt like I woke up from a nightmare.
00:12:08I was doing something I loved, just for the sake of it.
00:12:12There are no good or bad people.
00:12:15People are shaped by culture.
00:12:16I started making real human connections.
00:12:23And for the first time in my life, people liked me.
00:12:27Question the nature of reality and what life's all about.
00:12:30And I think that's a big question we should all be asking.
00:12:35Instead of extracting value from the world, I was adding value to it.
00:12:40This world is a theater of experience.
00:12:43We are here to learn how to grow.
00:12:49I realized how toxic money had made me.
00:12:52And how pure I felt without it.
00:12:54Because it's extremely easy, I think, to be achievement focused.
00:12:59So forward driving, goal oriented.
00:13:02What is challenging is having the proper balance of achievement and appreciation.
00:13:06Go figure.
00:13:08The banker is now the hippie.
00:13:13I was thinking about what I want for London Real.
00:13:15I don't want to sell London Real and make us both rich someday.
00:13:18I want to be 70 and having cool guests on.
00:13:21You know?
00:13:22For me, this is the fun of doing this.
00:13:24It's like meeting cool people and doing what we're doing.
00:13:27Everything was awesome.
00:13:29I was the king of free content.
00:13:32And then came the email from Dan Pena.
00:13:35At first, I ignored him.
00:13:3850 billion what?
00:13:42This guy was the total opposite of London Real.
00:13:45I'm not going back to the money.
00:13:50That's everything I walked away from.
00:13:52But persistence can be effective.
00:13:55Especially when you need a guest every week.
00:13:59To this day, I don't know exactly why.
00:14:03But I finally accepted.
00:14:05And invited Dan on the show.
00:14:12Shall we do this?
00:14:14Absolutely.
00:14:16Okay, here we go.
00:14:17This is London Real.
00:14:19My guest today is Mr. Dan Pena,
00:14:21who is an American-born businessman, entrepreneur, and mentor,
00:14:23who lives in a castle in Scotland.
00:14:26Dan, you're like a James Bond villain in that way.
00:14:30And, you know, you're dressed for success.
00:14:32I don't know many people that can pull off a three-piece suit
00:14:34and a gold chain.
00:14:37That's fantastic.
00:14:38You are the author of the book, Your First 100 Million,
00:14:40which you just gave me a copy.
00:14:42Thank you very much.
00:14:43I guess that's $100 million.
00:14:45Correct.
00:14:46Okay.
00:14:47What do you tell people that you do when they ask you?
00:14:48What do you say?
00:14:49Well, the last 20 years, I've been a coach, mentor,
00:14:52high-performance coach,
00:14:54to the select few that really want to be all they can be.
00:14:59Let me ask you a question.
00:15:00You know we're very zen here on this show.
00:15:02Yep.
00:15:03We talk a lot about that.
00:15:04I'm here anyway.
00:15:05Yeah, you're here anyways.
00:15:06Exactly.
00:15:07We like to shake it up here and try some different things.
00:15:09What if I said to you, you know,
00:15:10okay, this guy is going to be ultra-successful.
00:15:12He's going to make a billion dollars.
00:15:13What if I said, Dan, why does it matter what he makes?
00:15:17It doesn't matter.
00:15:18It doesn't matter.
00:15:19Or my question is, you know, to you that is the ultimate metric of success.
00:15:22No.
00:15:23No.
00:15:24Money is not the only thing in life.
00:15:26But it's the only thing anybody keeps track of.
00:15:29It's measurable to count them.
00:15:31Since the pharaohs.
00:15:32Okay, right.
00:15:33Size of the pyramids, et cetera.
00:15:34Okay.
00:15:35It's a metric you can keep track of.
00:15:36Correct.
00:15:37But what I give you, Brian, is the ability to have more choices.
00:15:41I have more, I'm just assuming I have more money than you.
00:15:44So I'm going to say that I have a lot more choices than you do.
00:15:47Because you have more money than me.
00:15:49If you want to send your kids to a better school.
00:15:51If you want to be able to take care of your mother when she gets dementia.
00:15:54If you want to be, this all takes money.
00:15:57Not Zen.
00:16:00I never paid a bill with Zen.
00:16:02Then the unexpected happens.
00:16:09People love Dan.
00:16:11Most of us go through life with our emergency brakes on.
00:16:14Then you release the brake.
00:16:16What happens?
00:16:17I get people to do that they think they're impossible.
00:16:23You come to me with your goals.
00:16:24By the time you leave at the seventh day.
00:16:26Your goals are a factor between five and a hundred times bigger.
00:16:31You give me your business model in 120 seconds.
00:16:35And I'll tell you in 60 seconds whether it will work.
00:16:38If it can't work, how to fix it.
00:16:40Or whether the shit can't.
00:16:42Okay.
00:16:43That's your specialty.
00:16:44Correct.
00:16:45But you probably charge a lot of money for that.
00:16:48Do you ever think to yourself and look in the mirror when you're in your castle and you're like,
00:16:51You know what?
00:16:52I need to get all rid of all this stuff.
00:16:53I need people to meet me and not know that I'm, you know, Dan Pena of the castle in my CV.
00:16:58And I need people to tell me straight and be like, who the hell is this guy?
00:17:01And I have to, you know, start over again.
00:17:03Do you ever think that that would be one of the ultimate challenges for you?
00:17:06No.
00:17:07But I've got a better challenge.
00:17:08Okay.
00:17:09Bringing 25,000 people across the goal line that should be living in a homeless shelter.
00:17:15It's much more satisfying than that.
00:17:18And it made me think.
00:17:20You could whip me into shape?
00:17:22Yeah.
00:17:23You know what you think?
00:17:24You'd be a tough sled, but like Atlas Shrug, you know, pushing the...
00:17:28Why would I be tough, Dan?
00:17:29Because you're, you...
00:17:31Am I set in my ways?
00:17:32No, no, no, no.
00:17:33At your age, you can't be set in your ways yet.
00:17:35Okay.
00:17:36Am I in my comfort zone too much?
00:17:37Uh, that's probably, I don't know you well enough, but that could be it.
00:17:40Okay.
00:17:41Uh, you seem to enjoy what you do.
00:17:42I do.
00:17:43Or you got a pretty good shtick about it, so...
00:17:45Right.
00:17:46Um, but, um, there will be a life beyond London Real.
00:17:51Yes.
00:17:52Yes, there probably will.
00:17:53Yeah, I'm sure.
00:17:54You're too young.
00:17:55I don't think you can do London Real until you're 55 or 60.
00:17:59It's not likely.
00:18:00Okay, this is good.
00:18:01Come on.
00:18:02Yeah, yeah.
00:18:03Give me a few minutes, free consultation.
00:18:04No, no.
00:18:05Once I get you to release your emergency break, Brian...
00:18:07Then you'll be carrying me over the whole line.
00:18:09Well, notwithstanding your zen...
00:18:10Yeah.
00:18:11You think the zen is hurting me, actually?
00:18:13No.
00:18:14No, no.
00:18:15It's where you're supposed to be today.
00:18:20Dan, you are an original.
00:18:21You are a unique gentleman.
00:18:23Thanks for coming here and telling us about yourself.
00:18:26I asked you some hard questions, and I appreciate you answering them.
00:18:28My pleasure, and I wish everybody in the audience all the luck and good fortune they earn.
00:18:35And to your quantum leaps in life and business.
00:18:38Fantastic.
00:18:39As we say on London Real, it's about the journey.
00:18:41You've had a fantastic one, and I wish you well on your future one.
00:18:44Thank you very much.
00:18:45I appreciate it very much.
00:18:47All right.
00:18:48Thanks, Dan.
00:18:49Take care.
00:18:50Okay.
00:18:51And I think part of the reason it struck me so much is because what I see in Dan is a lot of what I used to be and what I still am.
00:18:58And you know, the more I think about it, maybe there's a way we can all coexist.
00:18:59Here I am.
00:19:00Back in the same place of hill nine, so I was like.
00:19:01And I was like, to be careful to be about it.
00:19:02But I was like, hey, this has entirely been the best.
00:19:03In his life.
00:19:04In his life, hey, this is so great.
00:19:05This is a great thing spent of the time.
00:19:06And he's like, we haven't changed.
00:19:07But I think it's a great thing.
00:19:08In my life, and he's like, I want to take care of it.
00:19:09And it's a great time.
00:19:10And it should be that even more than what I've been doing.
00:19:11It all took care of you.
00:19:12Like in your life, it's a great time.
00:19:13So let me just go.
00:19:14And then I was like, let's be your life.
00:19:15me so much is because what I see in Dan is a lot of what I used to be and what I
00:19:19still am and you know the more I think about it maybe there's a way we can all
00:19:24coexist here I am back in the same place I was two years ago it's strange how
00:19:33everything has changed and yet this place remains exactly the same how does
00:19:41someone go from East LA to this they say that you can learn a lot about a man by
00:19:50looking at his home at what he chooses to show you and what he keeps locked away
00:19:57who wants to live in a castle anyway is this what happens when you dream from
00:20:03the barrio yet I can't deny that it's an effective symbol
00:20:09to prove to Dan's followers his now infamous slogan yesterday's dreams are
00:20:16today's reality great to have you back good to see you nice to be back in
00:20:23Guthrie Castle yeah well I mean it's a very special place that I'm gonna show you
00:20:27around yeah
00:20:31that is me and that's how I used to strut around the estate in the boots yep I've
00:20:38still got those boots
00:20:41life's a motherfucker and sensitivity equals poverty sensitivity equals poverty
00:20:48and I got a little dance I do
00:20:53is this you with the bowler hat yep I used to wear a bowler and carry a brawley
00:20:58that's a big smile there I was happy 10 million pounds I was about 20 million
00:21:03bucks
00:21:05and what is this phase in your life so you had you've grown tired of golf I had
00:21:10made a lot of money and I was bored he was still alive but then I jumped on him
00:21:17uh with a big knife and uh we killed it we want to jump on him from the back not the front because in the front
00:21:27I mean they can do a lot of fucking damage with those uh claws
00:21:30I'm not afraid when you lose your fear you lose your adrenaline I could kill people
00:21:36I'm no I could you know I have no hesitation whatsoever about that
00:21:42my goal is I want to go on the highest bungee in the world but I got to get my other knee fixed
00:21:53and the reason I'm getting my knees replaced is I want to climb Kilimanjaro and I'd like to climb
00:21:59Everest before I die and what are you waiting for maybe you can ask your mama
00:22:05tell the kids mostly they should go to a gun store and eat it
00:22:16this used to be a live grenade but we made it un-live when we came here
00:22:26because you can't bring shit like that into Britain
00:22:28I uh drive none of them I haven't driven in over 20 years but I've had a Rolls since I'm 26 years old
00:22:41and so didn't you tell me that you want to be up here at the apocalypse
00:22:51that's right the fucking machine we're gonna stack up the have-nots when it comes to the
00:22:57haves against the have-nots which it's gonna do we're gonna stack up dead bodies to right here
00:23:02right here we're gonna shoot them down like the fucking dogs that they are
00:23:07Dan made me do a lot of thinking after that first show
00:23:26I saw a lot of darkness in him but also some light
00:23:32he gave me a piece of his mind about me and he was like you know you think you're zen Brian and
00:23:43you know sooner or later you're gonna have to pay the bills and I don't know what you're doing here
00:23:47with this podcast but uh you're gonna have to straighten up fly right and take care of business
00:23:53then came his dinner invitation to the Ritz
00:23:56so I put on a suit and tie for the first time in years
00:24:02and brought Marianna to eat at the swankiest hotel in London
00:24:06after dinner Dan said
00:24:10Brian I'm going to change your life
00:24:13but you must come to my seven day seminar
00:24:16everything inside me told me to say no
00:24:21so I looked Dan straight in the eye
00:24:24and said yes
00:24:27the week before the castle seminar
00:24:36everything in my life went wrong
00:24:39it was as if the universe was conspiring against me
00:24:44I had every excuse to cancel my trip to go see Dan in Scotland
00:24:49this is called resistance
00:24:53a universal force that will stop an individual from changing
00:24:57by any means necessary
00:24:59and it's proportional to the magnitude of the change one wants to make
00:25:06the truth is I was scared
00:25:10scared of losing all the beauty I had found in myself
00:25:13scared of going back to the money and the man I was before
00:25:18but all growth begins with fear
00:25:22and I knew that Dan was the only option I had
00:25:27so I boarded that train
00:25:31and made the journey
00:25:32ready to leave on a moment's notice
00:25:35if the old man tried to push me too far
00:25:38this is London Real
00:25:46I am Brian Rose
00:25:48we have a special edition
00:25:49I am attending this very same QLA mentoring program
00:25:54starting in two days
00:25:55it's been six months Dan since we sat down and talked to each other
00:25:58so much has changed
00:25:59I've changed
00:26:01look I'm wearing a suit now
00:26:02I'm in a castle interviewing you
00:26:04I've noticed
00:26:05and you said you used to do webinars and this kind of thing
00:26:09but now you want people that are committed
00:26:10they're going to pay the price literally and figuratively
00:26:13they're going to come up to here for a week
00:26:15this is no joke to get up here to Scotland
00:26:16and they're going to get away from their comfort zone
00:26:19get away from their family
00:26:20I mean this is a bit like SEAL training
00:26:22you're stripping them down
00:26:23cutting off communication
00:26:24and now you want to put them through the ringer
00:26:26you want to break them down
00:26:27is that what's going on here?
00:26:28exactly
00:26:29a lot of you are here is
00:26:30how do I get the fucking money?
00:26:32that's the only thing
00:26:32they don't care about Dan, Pena, QLA, anybody
00:26:35okay
00:26:36how do I get the fucking money?
00:26:37okay
00:26:37I hear that all the time
00:26:39okay
00:26:40Brian how do I get the money?
00:26:40we get to how do you get the fucking money
00:26:42about the end of the third day
00:26:43or the beginning of the fourth day
00:26:44okay
00:26:45so I should stay for that
00:26:46yeah
00:26:46yeah
00:26:47you should stay for that
00:26:47but it's
00:26:49the reason why you haven't gotten the fucking money
00:26:52is that what the first three days are all about
00:26:55so just so people know
00:26:56the detailed information
00:26:57I broke down
00:26:58everything going on with my business
00:27:00with my personal life
00:27:01I took the success test
00:27:02I took a psychology test
00:27:04that basically
00:27:05I think it's trying to break down my own barriers
00:27:07how I limit myself
00:27:08correct
00:27:09my own self-esteem issues
00:27:10other people in my life bringing me down
00:27:12including my wife or girlfriend
00:27:13or my parents or my kids
00:27:15or
00:27:15absolutely
00:27:16and it was interesting
00:27:17because I wasn't expecting some of these questions
00:27:19correct
00:27:19okay
00:27:20and because as I said
00:27:21on the first time you interviewed me
00:27:22we have two bank accounts in life
00:27:24we have an emotional bank account
00:27:25and a financial bank account
00:27:26and the reason our financial bank account
00:27:27isn't where we necessarily want it to be
00:27:29is because of our emotional bank account
00:27:31those first few days
00:27:32what would have been the reactions from people
00:27:34do you get people that want to leave
00:27:35do you get people that want to cry
00:27:37we've had people pass out
00:27:39a partner in the big four accounting firm
00:27:41shit his pants
00:27:42the person that passed out was a psychiatrist
00:27:45why would they pass out
00:27:46I mean
00:27:46they just did
00:27:47oh okay
00:27:48the stress
00:27:49okay
00:27:49the stress
00:27:50because I push a lot of buttons
00:27:52Jesus
00:27:52has anyone ever said
00:27:53fuck you Dan Pena
00:27:55I'm walking out the door
00:27:56no I've thrown a couple out
00:27:58but nobody's ever said that
00:27:59I'll be the first
00:28:00if I walk
00:28:01yeah yeah
00:28:01if you walk
00:28:02you'll be
00:28:02there'll be plenty of cunts here
00:28:04but you may be the first cunt to walk out
00:28:06why is this important to you Dan
00:28:09why mentor
00:28:10why not be out there
00:28:11and be Alan Sugaring
00:28:13why not be Trumping
00:28:14why not be doing these things
00:28:16where these guys want to get more wealth
00:28:18they want to do more accomplishments
00:28:20they want to show the world
00:28:20because when I took 820 bucks
00:28:22and turned it into 450 million
00:28:24in eight years
00:28:25in a declining market
00:28:26I realized
00:28:29and kids
00:28:30you're not going to believe this
00:28:31or understand it
00:28:32it ain't that hard
00:28:33it just ain't that hard
00:28:36I know
00:28:37that
00:28:38if I
00:28:40impact you
00:28:41because I've already impacted you
00:28:42when I impact you more
00:28:44you will be
00:28:47a great collaborator
00:28:49for QLA
00:28:51because you have a big following
00:28:53so I will be
00:28:54a shining example
00:28:55of the wonders of QLA
00:28:56correct
00:28:57you're going to do that
00:28:57and if I can do it with you
00:28:59I can do it with anybody
00:29:00now let me ask this question
00:29:02now
00:29:02last time I had the interview with you
00:29:04we turned the cameras off
00:29:05we went outside
00:29:06you were saying
00:29:07I'm going to change your life
00:29:08Brian Rose
00:29:08you also told me
00:29:09that you have a glow about you
00:29:10and I was like
00:29:11I do
00:29:12yeah I know you do
00:29:13and we'll get to that later
00:29:14and I got home
00:29:15and I was like
00:29:16I felt like I had drank ayahuasca
00:29:17I called it the penasca
00:29:19because like my brain hurt
00:29:20and part of me says
00:29:21fuck Dan
00:29:23and part of me says
00:29:23alright we got to keep talking to Dan
00:29:25and it's very hard to process you
00:29:26and some part of me say
00:29:28the rational engineer side says this
00:29:30and I'll be straight with you
00:29:31it says look
00:29:32this is Dan's game
00:29:33he says
00:29:34you know something's wrong with you
00:29:35because you could be more successful
00:29:36okay that applies to 98% of the world
00:29:39who's realistic with themselves
00:29:40I know what's wrong with you
00:29:41if you listen to me
00:29:42you'll be more successful
00:29:43and if you don't
00:29:44you're an idiot
00:29:45like I thought you were
00:29:46so by definition
00:29:47you are right
00:29:48and everyone's wrong
00:29:49yeah
00:29:49is that right what I said
00:29:50yes
00:29:51absolutely
00:29:53so then isn't this just a
00:29:55isn't this just a con
00:29:56no it's not a con
00:29:57it's the truth
00:29:57it's the truth
00:29:58you call it what
00:29:59you call it what you want
00:30:00but that means you always win
00:30:02there's no argument against you
00:30:03well no
00:30:03I only don't win if you quit
00:30:06okay
00:30:07again that always works
00:30:08and I take that personally
00:30:09when somebody quit
00:30:10I've never given up on a mentee
00:30:11in 21 years
00:30:12I look forward to this week
00:30:14all right
00:30:14okay
00:30:14I don't say good morning
00:30:29when you say good morning in the military
00:30:31you say good morning Tony
00:30:33and he say
00:30:34what the fuck's good about it
00:30:36have you been sleeping with my wife
00:30:38have you fucked my daughter in the mouth
00:30:40and do you like me
00:30:43no matter how you answer it
00:30:44you're fucked
00:30:45so whenever somebody says good morning to me
00:30:47I have these flashbacks
00:30:48this is you
00:30:53the room
00:30:54and this is you YouTubers
00:30:55pay attention YouTubers
00:30:56you fucking cunts
00:30:57you stand around and watch
00:30:59all the opportunities go by
00:31:00they sit there
00:31:02they sit there
00:31:02oh I'm getting ready
00:31:03Bert's getting ready
00:31:04Bert's getting ready
00:31:05Rick's getting ready
00:31:07oh maybe
00:31:08maybe the next one
00:31:09maybe the next one
00:31:10maybe the next one
00:31:11oh fuck no
00:31:12no I'm tired now
00:31:13maybe the next one
00:31:14maybe the next one
00:31:15and
00:31:15and there comes somebody like me
00:31:18just jumps on the fucker
00:31:19and eats it
00:31:20maybe the next one Ray
00:31:22once you become fearless
00:31:28life becomes limitless
00:31:29the difference between me
00:31:31and everybody in this room
00:31:32is I have no fear
00:31:34of anything
00:31:35now just imagine
00:31:36if you fucking miserable cunts
00:31:38die tonight
00:31:38the regrets you're carrying
00:31:41to the grave
00:31:41I wish ya
00:31:43I coulda
00:31:44I fucking shoulda
00:31:45I kind of feel like
00:31:47Charlie Sheen
00:31:48in the movie
00:31:49Apocalypse Now
00:31:51as if I've been going up the river
00:31:53and I've been taking the train
00:31:55up through England
00:31:56for six hours
00:31:58to get to the castle
00:31:59and I've been reading
00:32:01the QLA
00:32:02emails and newsletters
00:32:04and listening to the podcasts
00:32:06of Colonel Kurtz
00:32:07also known as Dan Pena
00:32:08and my mission has been
00:32:10to come up here
00:32:11to kill him
00:32:11just like in the movie
00:32:13and now that I'm here
00:32:15I want to join him
00:32:16I'm high on life
00:32:18I don't need
00:32:19DMT or Iowa
00:32:21fucker
00:32:21that's all horse shit
00:32:23those are for losers
00:32:24this is all about
00:32:27your legacy
00:32:28this is all about
00:32:29what Dan's left on the world
00:32:30correct
00:32:30that's important to you
00:32:31yeah it is
00:32:32you're honest about that
00:32:32yeah I am
00:32:33and I'm selfish about it
00:32:35okay
00:32:35and I tell people
00:32:36one of the things
00:32:37that you need to do
00:32:38and I'm stealing my thunder
00:32:39is you need to be more selfish
00:32:41me
00:32:42you as an individual
00:32:43because you can't love somebody
00:32:45or love what you're doing
00:32:46unless you love yourself
00:32:47the biggest difference
00:32:53between me and the people
00:32:54in this room
00:32:54is I take responsibility
00:32:55for my actions
00:32:56and I don't blame them
00:32:58on other people
00:32:59and that's tough
00:33:02even when I make a mistake
00:33:04which is rare
00:33:05but early in my career
00:33:07I made a lot of them
00:33:08yes I am wearing
00:33:10a suit and tie
00:33:11I'm sure you've never seen me
00:33:12shoot one of these videos
00:33:13dressed like this
00:33:14it kind of makes you
00:33:16confront things about yourself
00:33:17that you might
00:33:18really not want to talk about
00:33:19or even think about
00:33:20and it's something that
00:33:22we all try to ignore
00:33:23and sometimes we distract ourselves
00:33:25with media
00:33:27and the internet
00:33:28and we don't ever really look
00:33:30a deep look at ourselves
00:33:31when I say I'm going to
00:33:35fuck you up
00:33:36I mean I'm going to
00:33:37fuck you up
00:33:38I'm going to kill your children
00:33:40your grandchildren
00:33:41your goldfish
00:33:41and everybody
00:33:42in your extended family
00:33:43people believe me
00:33:45of course that's all myth
00:33:48that's all myth
00:33:49I want to hit a few people
00:33:51with some lines
00:33:52that I just wrote down
00:33:53while I was listening
00:33:54dreams into reality
00:33:56through discipline
00:33:57when value is clear
00:33:58decisions are easy
00:34:00every day is a test
00:34:01did you pass
00:34:02if your friends and family
00:34:04don't think you're nuts
00:34:05you're not doing
00:34:07the right things
00:34:07amen
00:34:08procrastination
00:34:11is an excuse
00:34:13not to take action
00:34:14because if you're waiting
00:34:17for the perfect scenario
00:34:18it will never come
00:34:19I commit and sacrifice
00:34:25one year I mentor you
00:34:26for free
00:34:27for fucking free
00:34:29the 12 months
00:34:30are beaten by me
00:34:31for free
00:34:31everyone that's jealous
00:34:33of me here
00:34:33for this week
00:34:34at the castle seminar
00:34:35I'm going to have
00:34:35Dan Pena on my ass
00:34:37for the next year
00:34:37wondering why
00:34:38I took an hour off
00:34:39to take my daughter
00:34:41to the ice cream
00:34:41no no no
00:34:42I'm going to give
00:34:43me two lists
00:34:45one list
00:34:46your goals
00:34:47intermediate
00:34:48short term
00:34:49long term goals
00:34:50okay
00:34:51both in personal
00:34:52and business
00:34:53then you put
00:34:54another list together
00:34:55and this is a good
00:34:55exercise for you
00:34:56guys to do
00:34:57you put another list
00:34:58together
00:34:58and you say
00:34:59who you met
00:35:03with
00:35:03from
00:35:04Sunday
00:35:06midnight
00:35:07till Saturday
00:35:08midnight
00:35:09for one week
00:35:10now
00:35:11you put a number
00:35:12by every
00:35:13fucking person
00:35:14that you
00:35:15emailed
00:35:16skype fucked
00:35:17tweet fucked
00:35:18link fucked
00:35:19and
00:35:21which
00:35:21one of your goals
00:35:22on this other
00:35:23side of the paper
00:35:24they have anything
00:35:25to do with
00:35:25you will be
00:35:27staggered
00:35:28stunned
00:35:29gobsmacked

00:35:46at a rate
00:35:47I wasn't accustomed
00:35:47to
00:35:48American symbols

00:36:08that is
00:36:08to someone
00:36:09like myself
00:36:10when I hear

00:36:21and if I thought
00:36:25you were asleep
00:36:26or no one
00:36:27and then you never
00:36:30closed your eyes again
00:36:30the rest of the
00:36:31fucking week
00:36:31you wanna take
00:36:35the easy way out
00:36:36cause you think
00:36:37life is a journey
00:36:38that is horseshit
00:36:42life's a journey
00:36:44if you're a moron
00:36:45and you're retarded
00:36:47that's why
00:36:50you know
00:36:50that's what
00:36:51that's what
00:36:51you've done
00:36:52with the life
00:36:52up here to four
00:36:53it's been a journey
00:36:54and how good
00:36:55is the fucking
00:36:56journey
00:36:56you tell me
00:36:57wouldn't you have
00:36:59lied to have
00:36:59a template
00:37:00after the fifth day
00:37:04I hit the hard
00:37:05wall of reality
00:37:06I went back
00:37:08to my room
00:37:09and laid down
00:37:10on the floor
00:37:11in the dark
00:37:12I thought
00:37:14what have I been
00:37:16doing with my life
00:37:17why was I living
00:37:20in fear
00:37:20scared of my
00:37:22own self
00:37:22and then
00:37:24something clicked
00:37:26how happy
00:37:29will my friends
00:37:30and family be
00:37:31if they can see
00:37:32me truly living
00:37:33my passion
00:37:34how limitless
00:37:36could London Real
00:37:37be
00:37:38if we have
00:37:39income
00:37:39a team
00:37:40and the resources
00:37:42to take our message
00:37:43to the words
00:37:44political correctness
00:37:50is nothing more
00:37:51than a manifestation
00:37:52of a lack
00:37:53of fucking
00:37:53self-esteem
00:37:54because you
00:37:56cunts all
00:37:57want everybody
00:37:57to love you
00:37:58I don't want
00:37:59anybody to love me
00:38:00I don't want
00:38:01anybody to even
00:38:02fucking like me
00:38:03made us all
00:38:07take a long
00:38:07deep hard
00:38:08look at ourselves
00:38:09and ask us
00:38:10if we've just
00:38:11been making excuses
00:38:12because we're not
00:38:13prepared to compete
00:38:14have we been
00:38:15making excuses
00:38:15about our lives
00:38:16because we fear
00:38:17what we might
00:38:19not accomplish
00:38:19and you know
00:38:21it's made me
00:38:21ask a lot of
00:38:22questions about
00:38:22myself
00:38:23and it's gonna
00:38:25be interesting
00:38:26to see the changes
00:38:26I make
00:38:27when I get back
00:38:27home
00:38:28we are in the
00:38:32trophy room
00:38:33at Guthrie Castle
00:38:34I'm here with
00:38:34Mr. Dan Pena
00:38:35surrounded by
00:38:37some of the animals
00:38:38that were
00:38:38unfortunate enough
00:38:39to meet him
00:38:40you know
00:38:40when I met you
00:38:41seven eight months
00:38:42ago
00:38:42I was telling
00:38:43some of the guys
00:38:43here the story
00:38:44I had mixed
00:38:45feelings about Dan
00:38:45and I think
00:38:46part of that
00:38:47came down to me
00:38:48in a way
00:38:49I could be wrong
00:38:50but hiding
00:38:50from my own
00:38:51potential
00:38:52yes
00:38:52and he's got
00:38:56a big potential
00:38:56you know
00:38:57I'm not blowing
00:38:58smoke
00:38:58I don't have
00:38:58to blow smoke
00:38:59but he's a
00:38:59smart young guy
00:39:00now you don't
00:39:01probably think
00:39:01he's young
00:39:01to me
00:39:02you're a kid
00:39:03you know
00:39:04I got
00:39:04these shoes
00:39:05I'm wearing
00:39:05these wingtips
00:39:06are older than you
00:39:07you know
00:39:08and he's a smart
00:39:10kid
00:39:10he's accomplished
00:39:12a lot
00:39:13he's got a great
00:39:14fucking platform
00:39:15a great fucking
00:39:15platform
00:39:16and he can do
00:39:17a lot more
00:39:18with it
00:39:18and I think
00:39:19it's easy
00:39:20for me to create
00:39:20lots of
00:39:21subconscious
00:39:21dialogues
00:39:22and narratives
00:39:23in my head
00:39:23oh Dan
00:39:24it's all about
00:39:25the bucks
00:39:25Dan's not happy
00:39:26blah blah blah
00:39:27blah blah
00:39:27and so
00:39:28am I happy
00:39:29you're Dan
00:39:31is what you are
00:39:32so I do think
00:39:34you are happy
00:39:34I don't know
00:39:35what that means
00:39:35I think you are
00:39:37in the moment
00:39:37and you love
00:39:38what you do
00:39:40pretty much
00:39:4024-7
00:39:41that's what I think
00:39:42you do
00:39:42and I do it
00:39:4324-7
00:39:43and yeah
00:39:44the money comes
00:39:45and the money
00:39:46is a way
00:39:46of rewarding
00:39:48yourself
00:39:48and a way
00:39:48of keeping track
00:39:49but it seems
00:39:51like there's more
00:39:51going on here
00:39:52than just getting
00:39:53the cash
00:39:53it's being
00:39:54all you can be
00:39:55I believe
00:39:57whether you
00:39:58don't believe
00:39:59in the higher power
00:40:00Buddha
00:40:00Allah
00:40:01God
00:40:02whatever you want
00:40:02to call it
00:40:03I believe
00:40:03we were put
00:40:04on this planet
00:40:05however we got here
00:40:07either through evolution
00:40:08or by somebody
00:40:09went like this
00:40:10because we were
00:40:11supposed to be
00:40:12all we can be
00:40:14and we are
00:40:15undeveloped
00:40:17man's greatest burden
00:40:18is unfulfilled potential
00:40:19okay
00:40:20and if anybody
00:40:22on this
00:40:22watching this thing
00:40:24can tell me
00:40:26that he's
00:40:27anywhere near
00:40:28his potential
00:40:28I will jump
00:40:29off the fucking tower
00:40:30I mean
00:40:31with his hand
00:40:32on his heart
00:40:32and really believe it
00:40:33I mean
00:40:34because you're not
00:40:35I mean
00:40:36we have so much
00:40:37more within us
00:40:38and if we're doing
00:40:39something we love
00:40:39and I recommend
00:40:40when Dan recommends
00:40:42or suggests
00:40:42it really means
00:40:44listen moron
00:40:45fucking
00:40:45get off your
00:40:46dead ass
00:40:47take you know
00:40:47and change
00:40:49your attitude
00:40:50if you're not
00:40:51doing something
00:40:52you love
00:40:52and you don't
00:40:53have passion
00:40:54that's why
00:40:55you're tired
00:40:55that's why
00:40:56you need
00:40:56breaks on the
00:40:57weekend
00:40:57that's why
00:40:58you need
00:40:58holiday time
00:40:59because you're
00:40:59not doing
00:41:00what you love
00:41:00and I love
00:41:02this
00:41:02and for the
00:41:03last 21 years
00:41:04this has been
00:41:04my passion
00:41:05and the
00:41:06most people
00:41:09are living
00:41:10quiet lives
00:41:10of desperation
00:41:11I hate to tell
00:41:12you
00:41:13or as the
00:41:14Brits say
00:41:14I don't like
00:41:14to tell you
00:41:15but that's
00:41:16the truth
00:41:16and if you
00:41:17think any
00:41:18different
00:41:18you're fooling
00:41:18yourself
00:41:19as soon as
00:41:23I got back
00:41:23to London
00:41:24I pulled
00:41:25the trigger
00:41:25London Real
00:41:28is going
00:41:28big
00:41:28and things
00:41:30need to
00:41:30change
00:41:30I created
00:41:33our first
00:41:34product
00:41:34the London Real
00:41:35Academy
00:41:36a community
00:41:37and learning
00:41:38platform
00:41:38for our
00:41:39supporters
00:41:39it wasn't
00:41:42perfect
00:41:42but perfection
00:41:44is paralysis
00:41:45surprisingly
00:41:48people loved
00:41:49it
00:41:50after years
00:41:51of free content
00:41:52London Real
00:41:53wanted to give
00:41:54us something
00:41:54back
00:41:54it was such
00:41:57a strange
00:41:57feeling
00:41:57receiving money
00:41:59from doing
00:42:00something you
00:42:00love
00:42:00getting paid
00:42:03to provide
00:42:04value to
00:42:05others
00:42:05what I feared
00:42:08so much
00:42:08turned out
00:42:09not to be
00:42:09true
00:42:10I finally
00:42:11understood
00:42:12that making
00:42:12money
00:42:13is not
00:42:13bad
00:42:14people pay
00:42:15you when
00:42:15your ideas
00:42:16are worth
00:42:16something
00:42:17it's a vote
00:42:18with their
00:42:19credit cards
00:42:19so we invested
00:42:21the cash
00:42:21behind me
00:42:22it's where
00:42:23I've shot
00:42:24almost 300
00:42:25interviews
00:42:26I remember
00:42:27very distinctly
00:42:28building this
00:42:29desk
00:42:30but it's time
00:42:31to move on
00:42:31it's time
00:42:32to kill
00:42:32your darlings
00:42:33and we're
00:42:34going to be
00:42:34having the new
00:42:34set which is
00:42:35going to be
00:42:35behind me
00:42:36here
00:42:36and we're
00:42:36going to go
00:42:37to a new
00:42:37chapter
00:42:37and it might
00:42:38be the wrong
00:42:39move
00:42:39but at least
00:42:40I'm making
00:42:40a move
00:42:40change is good
00:42:42change is good
00:42:42breathe deeply
00:42:44and everything's
00:42:45going to be
00:42:45okay
00:42:45peace
00:42:46first step
00:42:50trust for success
00:42:51build a studio
00:42:53of the same
00:42:54caliber as my
00:42:55guests
00:42:55second step
00:43:00hire your dream
00:43:01team
00:43:02I'm not solo
00:43:03anymore
00:43:07then I had
00:43:08another idea
00:43:09why don't we
00:43:10teach all the
00:43:11things I learned
00:43:11in the process
00:43:12the knowledge we
00:43:13got from our
00:43:14failures and
00:43:15successes
00:43:15our accelerators
00:43:17were born
00:43:18we even did
00:43:20our first event
00:43:21with guess who
00:43:22most people
00:43:28love the new
00:43:28London reel
00:43:29but we also
00:43:30received some
00:43:31hate
00:43:31and lost a few
00:43:33some people
00:43:34just don't like
00:43:35to see you
00:43:36change
00:43:36but if you
00:43:38can't stand
00:43:38the heat
00:43:39stay out of
00:43:40the kitchen
00:43:40then I said
00:43:44in 12 months
00:43:46I don't want
00:43:47to recognize
00:43:48London reel
00:43:49or Brian Rose
00:43:50anymore
00:43:50and one year
00:43:53later
00:43:53it happened
00:43:54I couldn't
00:43:55I don't want to
00:44:14I don't want to
00:44:18and this is where i do my work from this is where i stood i believed and when i had my
00:44:33my come to jesus moment correct and you didn't want to sit down i didn't just sit down i said
00:44:38i'd rather stand you had notes did you know that was going to happen yeah yeah yeah because i could
00:44:42tell from in the seminar the one slide that it was like your a light bulb went off in your head
00:44:49there was one slide and there was two parts of it one had a bunch of dots and one had a bunch of
00:44:56dots that were connected and most of the kids they're watching this and will listen to this
00:45:02have read books podcast yada yada they've got tons and tons and tons of information you call it content
00:45:08but the only way you can connect the dots is by taking action and pulling the trigger once an
00:45:16engineer gets it because of the way their brain's been trained then you set up i don't know you set
00:45:23up a system a process and a procedure to follow but to your credit or discredit depending on how you want
00:45:30to look at it you knew what you were doing right and what you were doing wrong before you fucking ever
00:45:37got here but i'm the guy that points it out in a fairly irreverent manner because unfortunately
00:45:46uh you will hurt people's feelings and mostly the people that you are closest to if love got the job
00:45:53done and i mean now listen up youtubers and london reelers etc if fucking love got the job done
00:46:00why is the world so fucked up
00:46:04can you tell me about the frogs behind you and why you got so many frogs
00:46:13and uh frog cufflinks and has your tie got frogs and frogs tie
00:46:16okay because i i i learned uh and i've got frogs everywhere and i mean even my thank you notes
00:46:23napkins and frogs because the um i re i learned uh coasters the carpet underneath uh that table
00:46:33uh because i learned that life is a numbers game you got to turn over a lot of rocks to find
00:46:40something worth a damn and you got to kiss a lot of frogs hoping that one's going to become a prince
00:46:45my frog huh yeah well you were a frog yeah you were
00:46:48here i am in australia and that's about 30 meters my guide who had the camera i've got a 306 up to
00:46:59my shoulder and i said i don't want to shoot him well dan we better do something because he's going to
00:47:04charge why didn't you want to shoot him because i just looked in his eyes and i felt sorry for him
00:47:09but i i couldn't shoot him i just couldn't you'd had enough you'd shot
00:47:12yeah no i had a few more after that but that was the beginning of the end of me killing animals
00:47:18this is a seminar room uh that has become famous now everybody on this wall either directly or
00:47:30indirectly influenced me and the kids often ask why is adolf hitler there
00:47:36why is stalin there hitler post being in the trenches of world war one where he was a corporal
00:47:45his goal was to be chancellor of germany now from a 20 year old corporal in the trenches of world war one
00:47:52to be the chancellor of germany is pretty fucking bodacious but is it more or less bodacious
00:48:00than barack obama saying he's going to be the uh first black president of the united states
00:48:06when he was smoking weed in college
00:48:09not everybody on that wall uh was an angel and we have dr oppenheimer the father uh that's right
00:48:20there where your fingers the father of the atomic bomb uh you know a lot of people to say the atomic
00:48:25bomb shouldn't happen yada yada if oppenheimer hadn't done such a good job and would have killed
00:48:30all those poor people in japan uh and he's only three down from walt disney uh you know who hardly
00:48:38anybody says anything bad about him roy disney waltz brother arguably the brains behind disney
00:48:44uh is the one that taught me when value is clear decisions are easy being a high performance person
00:48:52doesn't mean you're a good guy or a nice guy and if you go back to the derivative of the word nice
00:48:58it means jerk retarded idiot go back and google it
00:49:05this is you in east la in 1993 standing in front of the lot that used to be my house but they tore
00:49:15it down because it became a crack house and you can tell just by the size from the uh the wall to
00:49:21the fence how little the house was and you're you're button your top button like a proper cholo
00:49:26exactly that's exactly right
00:49:28this is the um the hall of fame there's two ways to get on one influence a whole bunch of people
00:49:37in a positive manner i.e. you the other way is to create billions or hundreds of millions but there's
00:49:45people up here that have created 50 50 million by the way your picture is going right here is this
00:49:51me no it's going to be right here big one that oh well i don't well maybe we'll put the big one
00:49:55a lot of kids look up to you so i mean you have an important place because the kids listen you know
00:50:01whether they take action or not that's a whole other yeah and it's hard to get people to take
00:50:05action and it can be frustrating and you know that more than anyone so yeah so that's the wall of fame
00:50:10uh and if i if i stay in good stents i stay off the the wall of shame but those are for the people
00:50:16that has messed things up they took they went a bridge too far right so that's always a good
00:50:22reminder as well yeah because again you always say ethical moral illegal yeah and you always have
00:50:27been about that yep absolutely right and part of it is you know why am i so honest you know if you
00:50:32went to the seminar my dad i stole a golf club for two two dollars and fifty cent golf club at a big
00:50:37five department store and unfortunately my dad was with me and they caught me and he gave me a
00:50:45fucking beaten i mean like you like in a goddamn horror movie and now if i see brian i don't know
00:50:53brian and a 20 pound note falls out of his pocket i'll chase him down for 10 miles oh sir sir so you
00:51:00drop this and that's you know he taught me a lesson i'll never forget well can we can we finish on that
00:51:06because because manny 90 year old picture of him he's down there and let's be honest he was probably
00:51:11your biggest influencer yep and in a strange way you know in a weird way he is responsible for
00:51:17creating yeah these 50 billions you know because of those hard lessons and i know you had a bunch of
00:51:22those lessons and again with honesty that could have derailed so many different things and yet thanks to
00:51:27your father that kept you on correct yeah well thank you and that's true that's true but at the time
00:51:34i mean it's just i close my eyes and i can still remember the uh some of those episodes i uh i never
00:51:44did drugs and people say well how could you not do drugs in the 60s i didn't and the reason i didn't
00:51:49do drugs is that um my father uh sat me down when i was about your age 15 i took a loaded uh revolver 38
00:51:58um and he put it to my head with a hammer back and put it to my temple and um he said that uh there's
00:52:05only one cure for motherfucking drugs and that's a motherfucking bullet in your motherfucking head
00:52:10and i'm the motherfucker that'll put it there and my mother's screaming and crying uh manny manny
00:52:16you might pull the trigger by accident and he says it won't be by accident
00:52:21luckily dan had another important figure in his life amy aina his mother
00:52:30she wanted him to be the best to have a better life than she had
00:52:38so she followed the experts and made it her only mission
00:52:43this is the book my mother read 1946 and it says all the things to do and not do for a kid
00:52:51and almost everybody when i go around the seminar room their parents did almost none of them
00:52:59in fact they did the antithesis of them
00:53:02but my mother this was her bible this was her bible she never told me no
00:53:11she figured out a way to encourage me not to do it without telling me no
00:53:17because this book says there's no such thing as constructive criticism
00:53:21all criticism will be will resonate with you as destructive
00:53:26she wanted me to have the the accoutrements of a upper level family as opposed to the body
00:53:37of where where i was raised and then the last thing is she she uh pressured my father to move
00:53:43away from east l.a uh to a house we could not afford uh because uh because the trouble that i got in
00:53:51was pretty fucking horrific you know when you drop and you try to kill your fucking uh fifth grade
00:53:59teacher you know i didn't think about i didn't think i was going to kill him but
00:54:03dropping an aquarium that weighed about 40 pounds from two stories up and hitting him
00:54:09and if he hadn't moved about four or five inches and it had hit him in the head he'd be dead
00:54:14i wouldn't be here
00:54:16as i continued building london real i soon realized i had a problem
00:54:31turning your passion into a business is much harder than it looks
00:54:35when i was a banker all i had to do was get the deals done
00:54:40that was easy broadcasting was much more complicated
00:54:45it forced me to ask hard questions
00:54:48how am i going to keep my message true and still earn money
00:54:52why am i doing this to help billions of people change their lives
00:54:57or to make billions of dollars
00:54:59i struggled to see how i could do both at the same time
00:55:03i found myself in a dangerous game of dancing with my shadow
00:55:09one false move and my entire ethos goes out the window
00:55:14and along with it london real
00:55:17and there was another big problem
00:55:24dan and his one year of free mentorship
00:55:28constant supervised stress
00:55:38if somebody had a gun to your daughter's head
00:55:48and said brian we need results out of uh the realers
00:55:52we think a lot differently about it
00:55:54so i put a lot of pressure on the kids to perform
00:55:57because i know they can perform
00:55:59i want results
00:56:01i want results for you more than you want
00:56:05because i know what you're capable of
00:56:08if you want a friend buy a fucking dog
00:56:11i had enough
00:56:15no more mentoring
00:56:18no more QLA
00:56:21no more Dampena
00:56:23i quit
00:56:24he's driving me insane
00:56:30he wanted more
00:56:35more
00:56:36more
00:56:37it's never enough
00:56:42for the old man
00:56:43he's going to destroy everything i created
00:56:51i am not Dampena
00:56:56he just wants london real to be another one of his businesses
00:57:01another trophy
00:57:04another billion
00:57:06but Dampena
00:57:17never quits
00:57:19when i tell you i'm going to do something
00:57:24i fucking mean it
00:57:25i also
00:57:26when i tell you i'm going to fuck you up
00:57:28i mean it
00:57:29i'm just having words flap through my lips
00:57:32because that's the background i come from
00:57:35that's just it
00:57:37when i was at your birthday
00:57:41we exchanged words after gabby gave his speech
00:57:44and i said
00:57:44dan you're out of line
00:57:45and you said
00:57:45brian you're too sensitive
00:57:46and sometimes we exchange emails
00:57:50and i'm like
00:57:50why does dan have to be such a cunt
00:57:52why does he have to push it
00:57:54why does he have to always want to win
00:57:56no i'm not
00:57:56no i'm being just the opposite of a cunt
00:57:58you're not the old
00:57:59end of shit
00:58:00who gives a fuck
00:58:01but won't you all
00:58:02and the cosmos the time
00:58:03you are not a fart in the wind
00:58:05no one is
00:58:06exactly
00:58:07won't you always want me to be a thousand times better
00:58:09five years from now
00:58:10and instead of saying
00:58:11i learned a lot
00:58:13who gives a shit you learned a lot in the last year
00:58:15it doesn't mean a fucking thing
00:58:17it's
00:58:18have you done a lot
00:58:19not learned a lot
00:58:20because i want you to be all you can be
00:58:22not some fucking reasonable facsimile
00:58:25and that needs money associated with it as well
00:58:29but you say follow your passion
00:58:31almost always
00:58:31not always but almost always
00:58:32well you say follow my passion
00:58:33but my passion plus nine figures is more impressive
00:58:36well
00:58:38you're you're copying out that this is your passion
00:58:41but it's not
00:58:42don't i seem passionate about this
00:58:44to the kids maybe not to me
00:58:48i tell great stories
00:58:49i bring great people to light
00:58:50but so what
00:58:51come on
00:58:52but i mean but so what
00:58:53i mean
00:58:54how
00:58:55materially
00:58:56have these kids lives
00:58:58on a
00:59:00a measurable
00:59:02playing field
00:59:04been bettered
00:59:05they met you
00:59:06well they met me
00:59:08but have they done anything with that knowledge
00:59:09i don't know
00:59:10some have
00:59:11some have
00:59:11a few have been in the castle
00:59:12maybe 20 other people in a big way
00:59:14as in hundreds and hundreds of thousands of views
00:59:17now you're right
00:59:17a lot of people didn't do anything
00:59:19maybe 90 percent
00:59:19but you know
00:59:20maybe 95 percent
00:59:21maybe 95
00:59:22but you have affected people
00:59:24oh yeah i know that
00:59:25and
00:59:26and
00:59:26but
00:59:27guys like me
00:59:28want a
00:59:29measuring stick
00:59:3050 billion is
00:59:32you know
00:59:32i didn't talk about money for 20
00:59:35or
00:59:35for 18 and a half years
00:59:36i created billions
00:59:3815 years ago
00:59:39i've got 50 billion
00:59:41and two people
00:59:42two fuckers
00:59:44i've got tens of thousands
00:59:46so you can just imagine
00:59:47how big the number is
00:59:49two fucking weenies
00:59:5129 and 24 billions
00:59:54and i push these
00:59:57i continue to whip them like dogs
00:59:58do you think 29 billions
01:00:00is so fucking
01:00:01fuck you
01:00:02and the horse you rode in on
01:00:03is anybody
01:00:07me anymore
01:00:08i'd like to lie and say
01:00:11yeah but i can't
01:00:11i won't lie to you
01:00:12i'm not gonna lie to you
01:00:13you know what
01:00:21it's easy
01:00:22very easy to point the finger
01:00:25and say
01:00:26look at the bad guy
01:00:27we like to externalize
01:00:31our dark qualities
01:00:32but the reality is simple
01:00:35you cannot see in others
01:00:37what you don't have in yourself
01:00:39i hate dan
01:00:42because i hate all those parts
01:00:44of my personality
01:00:45and i guess
01:00:48that's why i'm at this stupid castle again
01:00:51here to accept this award
01:00:54even after i quit
01:00:56because i need to make this relationship work
01:01:00the only way to love myself completely
01:01:03is to love dan
01:01:05you know
01:01:10i have been
01:01:12you know
01:01:13for what you think
01:01:13can't tell you
01:01:13that's why you have no way to love yourself
01:01:13what you want
01:01:14to love
01:01:14and reflect on the fact
01:01:15and 박수
01:01:15is that
01:01:16what you want
01:01:16is that
01:01:17the love
01:01:17is that
01:01:18would be
01:01:19being
01:01:20our
01:01:21oh
01:01:21and
01:01:23that
01:01:23and
01:01:24we are
01:01:26moving
01:01:26through
01:01:26without
01:01:27transferring
01:01:28out
01:01:28of
01:01:29the
01:01:30of
01:01:30to
01:01:31Part
01:01:31of
01:01:32is
01:01:33Oh, my God.
01:02:03Brian has continued to tell people that we have this love-hate relationship.
01:02:09There's really no love in my part.
01:02:12When I forced my way or bullied my way or weaseled my way onto his show some two and a half years ago, we did well.
01:02:22There was a chemistry, a rapprochement that existed between the two of us.
01:02:26Now, I'm going to say again, for the public record, all the great things that he's done, he's only scratched the surface.
01:02:32And he knows that for the 5% that he listens to me, there's 95% left.
01:02:38So I'd like to induct him into the Hall of Fame, the QLA Hall of Fame, and he's very deserving of it.
01:02:45Thank you very much.
01:02:46Thank you, sir.
01:03:01Want to say something?
01:03:03Yeah.
01:03:04Go ahead.
01:03:04That's all right.
01:03:05You know, two and a half years ago, Dan pretty much did barge into my studio.
01:03:10And I remember that day pretty well because he was dressed in his three-piece suit, red tie, had just come from a meeting in the city, and he looked like a million bucks.
01:03:23I, on the other hand, was wearing combat trousers, boots, a skateboarding shirt, and I had something growing from here.
01:03:35What is that called?
01:03:36I don't know what it's called.
01:03:37I didn't like it, whatever it was called.
01:03:38You didn't like it.
01:03:39And from there, our relationship has gone on, and it goes up, and it goes down.
01:03:45And sometimes I don't want to hear what Dan has to tell me.
01:03:49But as I wrote in one of my blogs, the old man, he's always right because he's telling you what you don't want to hear about yourself but what you know is true, and that is you're not stepping your game up.
01:04:02And you get caught up in fear.
01:04:04As Dan says, false expectations appearing real.
01:04:07Just when you make a big win, you start to sit back and get comfortable, and that's when Dan and Sally come to town, and we have dinner, and I cherish those dinners.
01:04:16And at the end of it, Dan reminds me that I'm about 5% of where I should be, and I don't want to hear it, and I'm like, I go home, and I wake up the next day, and I think, well, maybe he's probably right.
01:04:30And then it's time to go in and try to step it up.
01:04:33And Dan's right.
01:04:34I listen to probably 5% of what he says.
01:04:36And still, I guess I've managed to do some things.
01:04:41And a lot of things.
01:04:42A lot of things.
01:04:44And so when Dan and Sally told me in August when they came to London that I was going to be honored to be on that wall, I didn't know what to say.
01:04:51I had a WTF moment as Dan texted us.
01:04:56You know, what the fuck?
01:04:57I was shocked.
01:04:58I was honored.
01:05:00It's been an amazing journey or a process.
01:05:05Knowing Dan for the past two and a half years, again, I have to force myself sometimes to go back in, but I know it's the right thing to do.
01:05:13And as Dan said once about his children, he said, I don't want them to love me.
01:05:17He said, 20 years after I'm dead, I want him to respect me.
01:05:23And I think that's what he's doing with all of us here.
01:05:26And so if I liked hearing from Dan all the time, if I wanted to give him a big kiss all the time, well, he's probably not doing his work.
01:05:36And I know that.
01:05:37And he knows that.
01:05:38And he knows that I know that.
01:05:40And I know that he knows that I know that.
01:05:42And so we continue.
01:05:45And I got a funny feeling I'm going to know Dan for quite a long time.
01:05:48I don't know who's going to kick the bucket first.
01:05:51I know.
01:05:51And I'm sure we're going to have some ups and some downs.
01:05:58And I don't think I'd really have it any other way.
01:06:02So I want to say, Dan Pena, I love you very much.
01:06:07I also hate you very much.
01:06:10You are a cunt.
01:06:12And you're also a huge hero to me.
01:06:15And you changed my life.
01:06:18And to be on your wall is a tremendous honor.
01:06:23I will show this proudly in my home.
01:06:26And from all of us here, I think I've spoken from many people here, we honor you and to your future.
01:06:34I want you to go out and rip their heads off and shit down their neck and fucking crush them.
01:06:52And which is going viral right now, I want you to kill, kill, kill, kill.
01:06:56Run towards the gunfire and kill them all.
01:07:00To your health.
01:07:04To your health.
01:07:34moment here because London Real Studios now looks like this nothing left there's nothing left
01:07:53it's all gone and this is it these two tiny rooms
01:08:00are um how we created I guess a movement or a uh hopefully a change in consciousness somehow
01:08:11um took six years and um I wouldn't trade it for anything in this world and I wouldn't change a
01:08:20goddamn thing the good thing about facing your fears is that it gets easier every time
01:08:36you know I'm a little obsessive and a little relentless and um I just knew this was the
01:08:40right path I had gut feeling even though it made no sense financially
01:08:44this is the biggest challenge of my life taking London Real to the next level
01:08:52and I'm afraid again you gotta have a dream man gotta have a motherfucking dream man but if you
01:08:59have that dream there's nothing that can stop you and now we're on a mission uh to quote the
01:09:04blues brothers we're on a mission from god and there's nobody that can stop that afraid of losing
01:09:10everything we've built afraid of forgetting my true message afraid of all the sacrifices I'll have to make
01:09:19but I learned something on this journey your fears are only phantoms
01:09:25or as Dan says false expectations appearing real
01:09:30fear is a good thing it's a requirement if you want to change and grow
01:09:42where will we be in one year I don't want to recognize us
01:09:46we all have a shadow that's selfish arrogant ruthless part of ourselves that we try to keep hidden away
01:10:03I got lucky I met my shadow he walked into my studio wearing a three-piece suit
01:10:10and now I know he's not trying to destroy me instead he's trying to complete me
01:10:24because there is no light without the darkness
01:10:29what about you have you found your shadow
01:10:32it starts with an admission yes the shadow is me all those things I don't like about myself
01:10:46and I choose to love and forgive them I choose to become the real me
01:10:52I choose to live life to my full potential
01:11:08so
