Formula 1 fans were treated to an usual sight ahead of the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday (My 4) as life-like replica cars made of lego took to the circuit ahead of the race.

The cars were created by a team of 26 designers, engineers and LEGO builders based at the LEGO Group’s Kladno factory in the Czech Republic.

00:00Formula One fans were treated to an usual sight ahead of the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday, May 4th, as lifelike replica cars made of Lego took to the circuit ahead of the race.
00:13The cars were created by a team of 26 designers, engineers, and Lego builders, based at the Lego Group's Kladno factory in the Czech Republic.
00:22The project took over 22,000 hours to build 10 cars at a near one-to-one scale to the authentic Formula One cars.
00:31So the real challenge about this project is designing 10 different cars at the same time and building them in time for the Miami Grand Prix.
00:40The team is really excited to work on this project. It's been really challenging.
00:44They put everything that they had into it, and they're really excited to see the cars on track.
00:52Each car comprises of nearly 400,000 Lego bricks, weighing 1,000 kilograms and capable of reaching speeds of 20 kilometers per hour.
01:14The company has repeated it, and they're really excited to work on this project.
