00:00My number one dream collaboration would be Miss Janae Eichel, and then I would also say SZA, Bryson Tiller, my top three.
00:08You are now clocked in with Essence, and I'm Jaston Martin.
00:30I started writing songs when I was like seven, eight years old, and actually the first song I ever wrote, I have a video of me on YouTube singing a song when I was like eight years old.
00:48Yeah, sound crazy, but it's okay.
00:50And I started learning production and taking it serious in 2021.
00:55Pretty much just learned on YouTube and just by, you know, doing it.
00:59Starting now, I would definitely say you have to lock in.
01:03Like you have to really want to do it because especially production, even now I still don't feel like I know as much about production as I could.
01:11And I feel like it's just an ever learning process.
01:13So I would definitely say lock in.
01:15Lock in.
01:16The only way you get better is by doing it consistently.
01:19So that would be my advice.
01:20One of my biggest lessons that I've learned in one of my more serious relationships would be when someone is not willing to grow with you or even grow for themselves to be better ultimately within the relationship, you have to let it go.
01:36Like as soon as you realize it.
01:37As soon as you realize someone doesn't want to better themselves emotionally, spiritually, mentally, let it go because how can it be better for you?
01:46So definitely be respectful.
01:48First of all, be well-dressed because I'm, I'm judging, I'm judging you.
01:52So yeah, look like something, be put together, look nice, you know, and, uh, and it's all in your approach.
01:58It's in your approach.
01:59Like don't come sounding crazy, talking crazy, be respectful.
02:04My current dream, as of now, I would definitely say just doing like a, uh, my own tour, but like a nice size venue, like every venue to be a pretty good size, working my way there.
02:19And then also being in a movie.
02:22I just feel like you feel good.
02:24You feel better about yourself and about the things you do when it's authentic.
02:29Um, and that's no shade, like power to the ladies, you know, just as long as it's, as you want to change, as long as you want to change and, you know, you're doing things for yourself, then I feel like that's still ultimately you being you.
02:42Right.
02:42But just more so don't compromise for anyone or anything outside of yourself and your belief.
02:49That's what I would say.
