00:00Well, the light is at the end of the tunnel finally for what has seemingly been an endless stretch of severe weather days extending all the way back into late April. We've got a couple more days left that will be kicking off today here to start off the work week. I left Colorado yesterday very late afternoon through some very scenic scenes on my drive south on I-25 here in Colorado Springs, eventually working my way into New Mexico where I was driving through the rain if you will late into the night getting to my final resting place there in Dumas
00:29Texas waking up this morning to that rain still continuing drove my way here to Lubbock where I am setting up for a pretty active severe weather day across western Texas hail damaging winds even a few tornadoes not out of the questions we're expecting multiple rounds of severe storms to develop late this afternoon into the evening hours those storms especially the later round will move their way east overnight to the other half of the state of Texas all the way across the state in eastern Texas setting up for what will likely be a very active severe weather day across
00:59portions of eastern Texas mainly along and east of the I-35 corridor so it's going to be a busy next couple of days for us here on the AccuWeather Network. Fortunately though things look to quiet down for an extended stretch as we get into the middle part of the week. Reporting for AccuWeather here in Lubbock, Texas, I am meteorologist Tony Lawback.
