00:00What I do now is advocacy through my sharing on social media and through podcasts like this.
00:07Yeah, it's part of my, I want to say, it's like my jihad to help raise awareness.
00:14What I do is right now, in terms of autism advocacy, the main reason is for me to help
00:21the society understand autism better because I know that's where the future is where it will
00:29grow and he'll be an adult soon.
00:31So he needs to be in an environment where people understand him as well.
00:35So what I do now is advocacy through my sharing on social media and through podcasts like this.
00:42Yeah, it's part of my, I want to say, it's like my jihad to help raise awareness.
00:49So it's all part and parcel as for Raiz because him and other autistic individuals, because
00:58for him, Alhamdulillah, he has the gift in music.
01:01So I foresee that that could be where he will be able to, you know, one day be independent,
01:08probably get his own income via music.
01:11So besides advocacy, I also, right now I expose his talents, his journey.
01:18Hopefully he will have a strong fan base.
01:22You know, we don't know, we start early so that he has a following so that in the future
01:27he will be, people will know him and probably he has a strong following and it would help
01:34in his future career probably in music.
01:37That's the path that is being created right now for him.
01:44Yeah, so, and for me, to have him, you know, to be like a normal child, I, I, I, it's not
01:53something that I aim because he, he just needs to be himself.
01:57He just needs to be himself and it's others that need to understand him.
02:01Yeah, he's just special in his own ways, right?
02:03And all of us are special in our own ways, isn't it?
02:06So it's like, two days ago I brought him to an event.
02:10It was very crowded, very noisy, but he was fine and he was happy to be there and other
02:16people were not bothered by him just, you know, walking around and, uh, so he didn't
02:21bother anybody, that's one thing.
02:23And others were not, um, uh, say, uh, bothered that he was walking around the room.
02:30So as long as he's not bothering anyone and he's happy, I'm fine.
02:34Okay.
