00:00I would like to know what you guys know about colonialism.
00:05What I know about colonialism, when a powerful country dominates a weak country in all aspects,
00:11economically, politically, and socially.
00:14In 1885 to 1919, after the Berlin Conference, that's when Germans dominated us.
00:21Germans used force, like they didn't actually want to negotiate,
00:26and when it actually came in terms of negotiations, they only used the bogus treaties that were signed by chiefs in different villages,
00:33making the chiefs sign treaties that he's not even aware of.
00:37And they exploited materials like minerals, gold, land.
00:42People had to pay head taxes. When you have a head, you just have to pay for your tax.
00:47You were strangled either way. You had to work for them.
