00:00Several consumers across the country have lodged complaints over the alleged poor service provided by the Villar-owned water utility firm, Prime Water.
00:12Rose, a resident of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, shared her experience as a Prime Water customer,
00:20saying she was forced to mortgage her home just to keep up with her water bills due to the high cost and unreliable service.
00:28Meanwhile, in Macaulod City, affected residents have started calling the utility Crime Water.
00:36Following frequent water interruptions, Benji, one of nearly 60 employees from the local water district,
00:43was terminated after the joint venture with the Prime Water began operations in the city.
00:49One of the key issues being investigated is Prime Water's alleged failure to submit required performance reports,
00:55while the LUA said its investigation team is also looking into whether the said company is complying with the Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water,
