00:00In other news, stories of grief, sadness, frustration and helplessness keep adding up

00:04from the supposed subscribers are customers of Prime Water, a water utility service owned

00:10in part by the family of the richest man in the country that is beset by scores of arate

00:16and totally dissatisfied subscribers and counting. With so many complaints coming out each day,

00:23legal action has been initiated to first dismantle Prime Water's joint business venture in Bakolud

00:29City and the local Water Utilities Administration looking deeper into the mess as our Meribel

00:35Custodio reports.

00:38Rose, a single mother and one of those affected by the questionable service provided by Prime

00:44Water Infrastructure Corporation Service, faced the media emotionally. According to her,

00:50she even had to mortgage her house just to pay for her water bill.

00:59Tapos within three months, hindi ko po siya nabayaran, nag-penalty po ako ng $14,000.

01:05$14,000 po ang binayaran ko sa Prime Water para lang po maibalik nila sa aking uli ang aking tubig.

01:12Pero hindi po nila yun binigyan ng servisyo. Sobra ano, as in, hindi tuloy-tuloy yung tubig nila.

01:23Minsan, kailangan mo pang gumising ng madaling araw pero yung tubig mo, buga lang ng hangin.

01:31Crime Water. This is what affected consumers in Bakolud City, now called Prime Water, due to the frequent water interruptions.

01:40Benji is one of the almost 60 employees of Water District who were terminated after the joint venture with Prime Water begun.

01:47Pagkangayon po, yung basiwa consumers, more than 70,000 consumers ng basiwa sa Bakolud is suffering from no water, low supply of water, dirty water, at black and iced coffee water sa Bangolud City.

02:06Ngayon, ito po yung challenge namin sa lahat ng mga opisyalis at lumatomatakbo ng mga opisyalis ng gobyerno.

02:14Hanggang kailan po ba natin kukonsentihin ang pamilya-bilyar na para maubos nilang ang ining ng lahat ng water districts sa Bakolud, Pilipinas?

02:26Hanggang kailan po ba dapat mananatili ang mga bilyar sa posisyon at come coming at abusuin ang mga consumers ng mga water districts?

02:35One of the violations being looked into is Prime Water's failure to submit performance reports.

02:41Not only for the breach of the agreement of the GBA or breach of contract, may lesyo ng batas, potable water standards, hindi pwedeng lamang pumasas sila doon.

02:53So, bahagi yan ang rason kung bakit i-terminate na itong mga GBA.

02:58The Local Water Utilities Administration or LUWA already stated that their investigation team will look into the Prime Water's compliance to Philippine potable water standards.

03:08Due to the serious issue with Prime Water's service, Attorney Neri Colmenaris Camp will submit a complaint to the Office of the President to cancel a joint venture between the Water District and Prime Water.

03:20President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has already ordered an investigation on the said issue.

03:25For their part, Prime Water said that they are open to dialogue with LUWA.
