00:00all right good afternoon guys um yeah sorry philip yeah we're good super um we'll follow
00:16the same format so yeah if you have a question please raise your hand and we'll try and get
00:20around to as many of you as possible hello first of all very very important for me get as many games
00:41i can to to keep proving myself and show that i'm i want to i want to play good and i want to play
00:49the big games and despite the aggregate score how are you and your teammates preparing for this one
00:55do you kind of take it a bit less seriously or is it full focus no no it's a full focus we take it as
01:02serious as any other games we in the end of the day is a european competition semi-final and we
01:09want to be in the final so we take it very serious
01:12how do you stop yourself thinking that you're already in the final you're three goals up against
01:20the team you've got the home game to come how do you in the dressing room stop already looking ahead
01:26and thinking that it'd be if you're a team or practice in the final no no i don't think any of
01:32us think that this is this is done yet we have 90 minutes left to to play in the semi-final we're
01:38going to give it all and we want to win win this game as well and how much winning this competition
01:44with with you being in goal how much would you expect or hope next season you can challenge to
01:50be or be the chelsea number one or chelsea is there no number one number two it's just what the manager
01:56decides on a game by game basis it's it's hard to know about next season now i just try to do my best
02:05every day and and show and prove that i want to be i want to be number one as everyone else in the
02:11team want to want to play every weekend so uh no i just do my best and then it's uh the manager's
02:18decision if you win the trophy you're in goal then obviously gives you a good opportunity to
02:23knock on the manager's door and tell him how well you've done i don't know to be honest i will just
02:30try to do my best and improve myself every day
02:33yeah i learned a lot from my time in in brol and uh i saw a lot of things
03:00uh when we won that europa league competition uh and also just emotionally and how every player
03:08was so happy and enjoyed the trophy that i want to be there one day and hopefully we can do it this
03:15year yeah exactly yeah
03:21can you just take us through a little bit what enzo wants from his goalkeepers when he's building
03:30out possession from the back and how has that adaptation been for you
03:34well i i think uh from my my uh style of playing uh he has been really good and i try to provide and
03:49do my best to give him what he wants from from us goalkeepers and i think his uh style and way of
03:57thinking about football really really how do you say really is good for my my playing style and what i
04:06want so i really enjoy how he's how he sees the way a goalkeeper should play and i try to do my best
04:14to always give him what what he wants
04:17sorry what does scrutiny mean
04:37no yeah we obviously sometimes hard to not see it but no i block all of that out i try to do my best
05:01every day to get better listen to what the people in the club says about me and what i can get better
05:07at and and try to just plug all the noise out and get better every day
05:12and just on robert as well how has he dealt with it
05:15he's quite strong and confident character
05:17i mean what's he like in training how does he do
05:20no same he just just kept going as always he has been the same since the start until now and
05:26and goalkeepers will always make mistakes but i think the important is how you react to it and i
05:35think you can see that he's playing really good right now so it's been all good
05:40when you speak to liam over there you talked about playing out from the back and the manager's style
05:47how did you develop that style and was it your spanish upbringing or was it more even before then
05:52in you know your youth club and stuff in scandinavia how did you build that style to work
05:57yeah since since i was young i would always like to be a outfield player i played a lot as a striker
06:04when i was younger so something i always i was liked and and yeah in spain as well we played a
06:13lot with the goalkeepers and in the academy so i think it come a bit from there
06:25yeah i think chelsea is one of the best places you can be in in forms of how you can improve every day
06:31how many working at the club trying to help you every day to get better so i'm really happy here
06:37and and i want to keep growing
06:43chelsea has been the favorite to win this competition since day one
06:46how much how did you deal with the pressure and how much important
06:53i think it will be very important for for all of us i don't think
06:56uh many players in the squad have uh european title to their names yet so uh for everyone it
07:04will be very important and now the pressure will always be pressure and this it this kind of big
07:11of a club so now it's just normal go out and do our best and try to win every game
07:17and as far as that before uh about trying to build a winning mentality here at chelsea i'm curious about
07:23how is that for a player from a player part of you having a manager that is trying to build something
07:28here of winning mentality how can you do it
07:33no just just as i told you many times now just do our best every day and and we all we all want to win
07:41we all have that winner mentality and try to build it as a group and get more together and and celebrate
07:48everything good we do yeah and if i may just follow on from peter's earlier question how how tough has it
07:57been for you and robert as goalkeepers this season because it's one thing to have criticism and scrutiny
08:04as he said but sometimes it's felt like it's come from chelsea's own supporters and it must be difficult
08:10for you when you're the last guy standing right in front of them and you can sometimes sense that so
08:15i just wonder how how difficult has it been for you no i think uh when you play in such a big club
08:22you will always deal with a lot of pressure and and because the fans expect uh to have the best players
08:30and uh that's why i'm working for every day i want to be the best because i know that's what chelsea
08:36chelsea has to have because it's such a big club and i want to prove that i can be one of the best so
08:42for me it's it's not really hard i just try my best and i get going and listen to the closer circle what
08:50they have to say about me and try to keep the other noise a bit further away sometimes expectations can run
08:57away with supporters all right sorry i didn't understand sometimes fans can maybe expect not
09:03just at chelsea but fans can expect a lot yeah yeah yeah and they're all right to do that but
09:11we also have to be realistic and now we just work very hard and we want to give the fans what they
09:18what they want every time
09:29well it's it's a great game it's a semi-final of a european competition
09:43and they will still believe that uh this that they couldn't they could turn it around and we
09:50we are we are also very very focused on this game to get the job done and get the win at home as well
09:57so nothing is is done for any teams we have still 90 minutes left and we want to win it cheers guys
10:04thank you thank you thank you
