00:00It was good. In fact, we did play well. So it was a good batting from our openers and of course, especially Prabh Simran, the way he started and he finished.
00:16So, what about fans supporting? What did you expect?
00:21We are really very, very happy because of the way the fans turned up for the last game and we definitely expect and urge the fans to come and cheer us.
00:33How do you support the Indian Army?
00:39I think we are very proud of our forces, the way they have done it.
00:44And the whole country should be proud of that, whether it is Air Force, Navy or military. We are very proud of our forces.
00:54Rokuj, with so much uncertainty around the Shekdi and the upcoming matches in Dharmeshaka and the ASVC 2 as well.
01:02Does that put a spanner in your pants and your planning around how you want to travel, where you want to put your strategies in?
01:09Because you are not even sure where the game will happen if the Mumbai game does go ahead.
01:13I think we are following the BCCI's protocols and whatever the BCCI recommends us, the team management will act upon it and we will definitely follow the protocols from them.
01:25As a coaching unit, does it put a spanner in your pants? How tough is it as a coaching unit?
01:31Of course, it does. I mean, we don't have a choice. I mean, we have to accept it and move on.
01:36You know, whatever the best we can do as a coaching unit, we all would love to do that.
01:43Did the team feel any involvement on this team?
01:47Of course, we felt very happy because the way we played, we bowled, we did have a camp.
01:52We had two camps here prior to the tournament. That really helped our players to be well equipped with the conditions.
01:59And definitely the result also was in our favour. It was good.
02:05Both Delhi Capitals and Punjab Inc. level performed very well in this IPM2 in 2025. So, how do you see tomorrow's clash? What will the plan of action be?
02:19I think both the teams are doing well. It's all about how mentally you are strong and taking one ball at a time, playing one ball at a time.
02:28So, how will the toss help you in a match? Any toss strategy?
02:36No, I don't think so. I mean, at this stage, you know, you accept, you know, the toss is one thing, of course.
02:44And you need to play well. You need to be mentally strong and you have to go out and play the game in a hard way, which we have been doing it.
02:52Sir?
02:54With the table so tight at the top of the table, the nostalgia game against AKR, do you see that as a point loss or a point loss?
03:03See, I think, no, you know, you can't really go against the nature. So, whatever it has happened, it has happened now.
03:10You know, we can't go back and look at that game. You know, I think game in our hand is important.
03:15So, we are focusing one game at a time. So, our entire focus and, you know, playing good cricket is in one game at a time.
03:24Sure. And another question for me, as a spinning running coach, how happy are you with Yuzi's performance this season?
03:32I think Yuzi has been very consistent. You know, if you look at, he is the highest wicket-taker in the IPL entire history for the last 18 years.
03:39And he is one such magician who has come back very strong every time, you know, people are, you know, raise their eyebrows at him.
03:49And he is such a hard master. Of course, he is a chess champion. He knows what he is doing.
03:54Can you find anything special that he might have done in the 3D camp?
03:59I think it is just all about talking about tactical area and, you know, that is something which he is such a senior guy.
04:05He has been playing for the last 18 years in this IPL and, you know, he has bowled across the globe.
04:11It is all about handling pressure, which he has done it. So, you know, coaching at this level in a very subtle way of communications happens.
04:20The team got enough time to explore Dharamshala. How did the team find you?
04:25No, it has been wonderful Dharamshala because we had a good stay here and, of course, the conditions were good.
04:33And most of the players accepted the conditions. They are in a home. Home away home.
