For the second time in eight days, an F-18 Super Hornet fighter has been lost in the Red Sea after going overboard from the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier. In the latest incident, the fighter failed to catch the arresting cable and overshot the deck. The two aviators on board ejected to safety. Last week, another F-18 fell into the sea while being towed.
