00:00Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the
00:06discontinued junk foods we wish were back on store shelves.
00:10Use more spirits, like a dream come true.
00:13Number 10. Pringles Sticks
00:16We all know that with Pringles chips, once you pop, you can't stop.
00:19But back in the 2000s and early 2010s, Pringles also gave us sticks.
00:24New Pringles Sticks. The crispy cracker sticks with a one-of-a-kind taste.
00:31And once we had sticks, we couldn't quits.
00:34Okay, so maybe we need to work on our tagline game, but that does not take away from how good these sticks were.
00:39Especially the honey butter and cheese-flavored ones.
00:42Crunchy. Whoa, this one's real good. I can taste the honey.
00:48However, while the sticks had a loyal fan base, as Pringles posted on their Twitter account back in 2020,
00:53quote,
00:55Pringles Sticks were discontinued in this sector of the universe due to lower demand.
00:59Number 9. Pizzeria's Pizza Chips
01:02While most of us probably associate the Keebler Elves with cookies, back in 1991,
01:07those cute little guys took some fresh pizza dough and cooked up the Pizzeria's Pizza Chips.
01:12Come on down and taste something new.
01:14They're right, Uncle Ernie.
01:15In your dreams.
01:17Pizza!
01:18Pizzotic Man Chips!
01:20New Pizzeria!
01:21The chips made their debut with three flavors.
01:24Cheese Pizza, Pizza Supreme, and Zesty Pepperoni.
01:27And they were an instant hit.
01:29However, by the end of the decade, the Keebler company had been sold and the Pizzeria's were discontinued.
01:35Allow me, boys.
01:37Pizzeria's!
01:40Tastes like real pizza!
01:42That hasn't stopped fans of the chips from trying to bring them back, though.
01:45As of the end of 2021, a couple of Bring Back Pizzeria's Chips Facebook groups were sporting over 7,000 followers.
01:52Number 8. Butterfinger BBs
01:55For years, Bart Simpson warned us that nobody better lay a finger on his Butterfinger.
02:00You won't mind if I take a bite of his crispity, crunchity, peanut-
02:04No!
02:05I told you, Homer.
02:07Nobody better lay a finger on my Butterfinger.
02:10But when it comes to Butterfinger BBs, no one's been able to lay a finger on them since 2006.
02:15Not even the Bartman himself.
02:17The candy, which is basically a little ball version of the chocolate bar, had a good run beginning in the early 90s.
02:23New Butterfinger BBs!
02:28Unbelievable, snackable balls of...
02:33Crispity, crunchity, peanut buttery Butterfinger!
02:36But for some reason, we're not sure why, in 2006, they were done.
02:40Three years later, they introduced Butterfinger Bites in an attempt to win back fans.
02:45And while some surely appreciated the new bite-size option, for others, they'll just never be as good as the BBs.
02:51Math is easy. Let's say you have 15 Butterfinger BBs, hmm?
02:55And I take five of them. What do you have left? One less sister!
02:59Number 7. Altoid Sours
03:01Altoids and those awesome reusable tin containers are a staple in many of our purses and bags and car consoles.
03:08But, as good as the regular Curiously Strong mints are, we miss the Curiously Sour ones.
03:14Was it a pleasant experience popping them in your mouth? Maybe not.
03:18But that was the point. It's said sour on the tin, and unlike other so-called sour candies, Altoid Sours lived up to the billing.
03:26Mmm.
03:28So how did you like that?
03:30I like that one. I like it a lot.
03:33People love Altoid Sours. Will you?
03:37But, unfortunately, not enough people wanted that sour, face-puckering experience, and according to a representative from the Mars Corporation,
03:44quote, they were discontinued due to low national demand.
03:47However, if you are truly desperate, you may still be able to find unopened tins on eBay for the wallet-puckering price of up to $525.
03:57Remember, use caution when experimenting with Altoid Citrus Sours.
04:02Number 6. Hostess Choco Bliss
04:05Take two layers of chocolate cake, sandwich a layer of chocolate cream in between, top it off with chocolate icing, and there you have the aptly named Choco Bliss.
04:13Whoa! Check that super chocolatey icing.
04:15Awesome! Ooh!
04:17Hey, whipped chocolatey cream inside.
04:20Billed as a chocolate lover's dream, these Hostess snack cakes were a lunchbox favorite of many 80s kids.
04:26They sound like they'd be a favorite of ours today as well, had they not been discontinued decades ago.
04:31Choco Bliss, a dream come true!
04:34One, two, three, I'm relaxed to see!
04:37New Choco Bliss from Hostess, watch out!
04:40We don't know why Hostess gave up on them, but we do know there are online forums filled with commenters lamenting the fact that they can no longer get their hands on this bliss from their childhood.
04:50Number 5. PB Max
04:53It don't stand for piggy banks, platinum blonde, peace baboon.
04:57Let's face it, candy bars come and go, most without much fanfare.
05:01There are some serious calls for the return of the PB Max, however.
05:05A Mars candy creation that really was something else.
05:09The final form of PB Max wasn't just peanut butter and chocolate, but a delicious cookie topped with PB and then covered in sweet chocolate heaven.
05:17PB means peanut butter, real peanut butter, lots of real peanut butter, and pure milk chocolate with the crunch of a whole grain cookie.
05:25The most frustrating thing about the PB Max's demise is that it actually sold really well.
05:30However, the Mars family reportedly didn't like peanut butter, or money apparently, so they used this subjective opinion as a means for the PB Max axe.
05:40What a waste.
05:41PB Max, we mean peanut butter.
05:43Number 4. Hershey's Bites
05:45The Hershey's Company has so many delicious snacks under their belt, it's easy to forget that there's also plenty of forgotten classics.
06:00Hershey's swoops were one, but the penultimate spot on our list goes to the much-missed Hershey's Bites.
06:06No, not the candy bites, but this even crunchier and more snackable concoction that came in a variety of flavors.
06:12Hey! Look who just showed up! Introducing new Kit Kat and Heath Bites!
06:17You get the feeling everyone is staring at us?
06:19What? Is my bag open?
06:20Rolos, Kit Kats, Peppermint Patties, and more were all shrunk down and packaged in a size that was perfectly geared for guzzling.
06:28Unfortunately, they posed a choking hazard for some, and most of the line was discontinued.
06:34However, Hershey's website does say that limited flavors can be purchased direct, but don't go scouring store shelves for this one.
06:42Number 3. S'mores Grams, aka S'mores Crunch
06:46Ice cream is great, but maybe you gravitated more towards the serialized, deconstructed version of this late-night camping fireside snack.
06:54General Mills has shrunk down many a treat over the years. Some have stood the test of time, like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, while others, like French Toast Crunch, were discontinued, only to be revived due to popular demand.
07:05Make it homemade taste! I like it!
07:07Sadly, this particular offering, which boldly threw marshmallows into the mix without even bothering to disguise them as something else, is no longer available.
07:15It ran from 1982 to 1988, and was briefly brought back in the 90s, only to get the axe again.
07:22Number 2. Cheetos Twisted
07:25It may seem as if there's a new flavor of Cheetos available every week, so you'd be forgiven if you didn't notice that Cheetos Twisted no longer exist.
07:37New Twisted Cheetos Snacks
07:39These curly Q-shaped Cheetos snacks were thicker, meaning more of that finger-staining cheese dust to coat your fingers.
07:46They also arrived armed with that patented Cheetos Crunch, and were available from around 2002 to 2012, but all good things must eventually come to an end.
07:56The Cheetos folks discontinued their Twisted brand, but never fear because the company is bound to create something similar down the line.

08:20Number 1. Cap'n Crunch Oops Choco Donuts
08:26It's a thin line that companies need to walk when trying to market cereal based on baked goods to kids.
08:31Parents can seemingly accept sweet treat based products, as long as they're inspired by traditional breakfast dishes like French toast or cinnamon toast.
08:39But when the concept is something like ice cream, or as is the case here, donuts, it's a little harder to swallow.
08:45Parents be damned though, these were awesome.
08:48With the familiar face of Cap'n Crunch on the box, these chocolate cereal rings garnished with sprinkles were a home run with the kids.
08:55Sadly, they were also too good for this world, and were discontinued.
