01:08It is a great privilege to stand before you today at this momentous occasion, the groundbreaking
01:13ceremony of LG Electronics state-of-the-art facility here in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh.
01:21I extend a very warm welcome to the leadership of LG Electronics, India and Global and its
01:28vendor companies to our state.
01:32Today marks more than just the beginning of a construction project.
01:37It is a defining milestone in the journey of industrial growth and technological advancement
01:44for our state and for our nation.
01:47Where innovation meets investment, the future is taking shape.
01:52With an investment exceeding 5000 crores, LG Electronics is not only bringing a world-class
01:59manufacturing unit to Andhra Pradesh, but is also reaffirming global confidence in our state
02:06as a premier investment destination.
02:09We are really excited to deliver a product made in Andhra Pradesh, made for the world.
02:17This project is one of the first major foreign direct investment under the new government.
02:24The people of Andhra Pradesh gave us a resounding mandate.
02:28In the history that we created in the last election, 94% of the seats that we contested, we won.
02:38And the clear mandate was about creating jobs.
02:41And we believe that this investment is in the step in that direction.
02:46This also reflects our leader, Mr. Naidu's commitment to the speed of doing business, robust infrastructure,
02:53a future focused vision of Andhra Pradesh.
02:57We promised ease of doing business and today we are delivering speed of doing business.
03:04The LG factory will produce advanced home appliances, refrigerators, air conditioners and washing machines,
03:12integrating the latest in smart and energy efficient technology.
03:18A smart factory, a smarter state, a smarter India.
03:22That journey is beginning here today.
03:25This isn't just about manufacturing.
03:28It's about shaping the future of living.
03:31It's about creating jobs, empowering our youth and transforming lives.
03:37We are not just building factories.

03:43This facility alone will create nearly 1,500 direct jobs.
03:48And with LG's key vendors investing here, creating more than 700 jobs,
03:55will impact our economy and will create a lot of jobs for the locals.

04:04It is a groundbreaking movement for the youth of Andhra Pradesh.
04:09I would like to especially recognize the four key vendor partners of LG who are here.
04:17Ecorea and Kuroda Electric, Hang Sung India, Kyung Sung Precision and Taesung Electronics,
04:27who are establishing high-tech units that will further strengthen LG's supply chain and reduce import dependence.
04:34The power of partnership is the passport to progress.
04:38And we in Andhra Pradesh believe in the power of ecosystem.
04:41Their presence demonstrates the power of collaborative growth and shared vision.
04:47It also shows the world how Andhra is positioning itself as a global electronics manufacturing ecosystem.
04:55When global giant meets Andhra Pradesh's ambition, magic will happen.
05:01And with this factory of LG coming up, we will be supplying 70% of domestic air condition for our great nation.
05:14Together, LG and its partners are bringing cutting-edge technologies like air-driven manufacturing,
05:20smart production processes, and energy-efficient systems to Indian soil,
05:26advancing our ambition of becoming a global hub for electronics manufacturing.
05:33This project gels very well with our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of making India.
05:40Sri City has become a beacon of industrial progress.
05:44With projects like this, we are building more than factories.
05:47We are building futures, creating smart jobs, and writing a new chapter in the economic story of Andhra Pradesh.

07:17You have the entire leadership of three cities in front of you.
07:20I won't say they are more aggressive than the government, but they are as aggressive as the state government.
07:27They are eager to build an entire ecosystem that we believe will be very critical in making this ecosystem not only successful,
07:35but thrive over the next century.
07:38It's not about one plant or one project.
07:41We want to build an LG city here in Free City.
07:44And we request the support of the LG leadership here to make this a success.
07:51With every job created, with every innovation launched, we are scripting Andhra's rise as India's electronics powerhouse.
08:00Let this factory be the factory of dreams for every young engineer, every aspiring technologist, and every entrepreneur.
08:09As an HRD minister, this factory also gives me new challenges of giving you trained manpower, cutting-edge quality leadership.
08:21We will work with your leadership to deliver that.
08:24And together, let's build not just machines, but dreams, not just products, but possibilities.
08:32So I would like to thank the entire LG leadership for coming here all the way from Korea.
08:38Lord, rest assured, over the next four years, we will work on getting direct connectivity to our international airport here in Tirpati to make your journey more seamless.
08:52And it also helps that the Minister of Civil Aviation is from my party.
08:56He's a very young MP.
08:58He's the youngest cabinet minister in the history of India.
09:02So I'll definitely put this request in front of him, and I'll task him in connecting our both,
09:07our great nations from Tirpati.
