00:00The first NFL offseason bet that I made was on the Dallas Cowboys.
00:04It was over the seven and a half win total for Dallas at the time.
00:07Even money.
00:08Now with some odds optimism.
00:10Maybe the George Pickens trade.
00:11I wouldn't say necessarily just that.
00:14But the over of the seven and a half is minus 135.
00:17I said the reasons why.
00:19Nine years.
00:20Jack Prescott has the starting quarterback.
00:22He's played at least 12 games in seven of those nine years.
00:26Dallas has won at least eight games in all seven of those seasons.
00:29Double digit wins.
00:30Meaning at least 10 in five of those seven years.
00:34Again, I would not bet my money.
00:36Although I did on the over of the seven and a half.
00:38On any of the other prices.
00:40NFC East.
00:41NFC title.
00:42Or the Super Bowl numbers.
00:44Certainly not on those final two.
00:4621 to 1 for the Cowboys DRS to win the NFC Championship.
00:4944 to 1 to hoist a Lombardi Trophy finally for the first time in three decades.
00:55But I do think the over to get to at least eight wins.
00:58It does not guarantee a playoff spot or being in contention for a divisional crown.
01:02But at least eight wins in 2025 is something they can easily do.
01:06They got talent on that football team.
01:08They have a good starting quarterback.
01:09That's half the battle right now.
01:10They have an elite pass rush here.
01:11And certainly they're going to get some of those breaks.
01:13Hopefully.
01:14And those breaks not being we have the injuries.
01:16And another team in the NFC East does get injured at that point.
01:18You always can rely on that.
01:20But that's a low number.
01:21Like Dallas Cowboys are supposed to be posted up at nine and a half.
01:24But again, a representation is it's a much tougher division.
01:26You think the Giants are probably going to take a step forward with Russell Wilson.
01:29Not saying they're going to challenge for the division.
01:31But maybe not a doormat every single game.
01:33Washington's certainly a quality football team.
01:34Then the Philadelphia Eagles just won the World Championship last year.
01:37So that's why you're getting at the price point.
01:39And also understand this.
01:41That schedule is really, really tough with the draw that the NFC East got.
01:45So it is a lower market.
01:46But if I'm going to get Dak Prescott healthy for a year with that offense,
01:49he's going to put up numbers.
01:50They're going to score.
01:51And again, we don't even need 500.
01:52Right.
01:53You don't even need 500.
01:54Right.
