India-Pak War: J&K LG Manoj Sinha assures preparedness after cross-border tensions in Uri

Uri (J&K) May 09, 2025 (ANI): J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha meets Army personnel in Uri sector amid tension between India and Pakistan in border areas. After taking stock of the security situation in Uri, J&K LG Manoj Sinha said, " Attempts were made (by Pakistan) Indian armed forces are ready to deal with any kind of situation. J&K administration is ensuring that people here don't face any inconvenience. I went to villages in the border areas that suffered losses. The injured and the families of those who died have been given ex-gratia. The loss is being ascertained...there will be a need for new bunkers, so in the coming days, that will be built too"
