00:13Yeah, I heard the announcement.

00:14Um, I just can't work extra tonight without hitting overtime, so I didn't know if that was okay or not.

00:19No, we totally need the help, so if it's gonna make you go overtime, that's totally fine.

00:23So can you stay?

00:24Okay, well, if there's no issue with that, then yeah, I can stay.

00:26I don't mind.

00:28Hey, so I was just looking at your hours, and you hit overtime yesterday, and we do not allow overtime at all.

00:35Yeah, yesterday, when you called on the walkie to see if anybody could cover, and I told you I would go overtime, but you said that that was okay.

00:42I definitely did not say that.

00:44It's your responsibility to make sure that you do not hit overtime.

00:47Okay, well, you definitely did.

00:49I heard you, and so did multiple other people on the walkie.

00:52Okay, well, here's the situation.

00:53We don't have the money, so we're not gonna be able to pay you for those overtime hours.

00:57Okay, you can't not pay me what I'm owed from yesterday.

01:01It's your mistake for approving overtime when I specifically told you that I would go over.

01:05I'm sorry.

01:06There's nothing I can do.

01:07It's completely out of my hands.

01:08Okay, well, if you can't afford overtime hours, you can't afford getting sued or me calling labor board.

01:14So you can either pay me what I'm owed, or I can go a lot farther with this, and it's gonna cost you a lot more money.

01:20Okay, fine.

01:22I will go ahead and pay you this time, but this is a one-strike kind of thing, all right?

01:26I don't get why you guys always go towards the labor board route.

01:29Because that's the only way to get you guys to do the right thing, because you never want to cost this company any more money than you have to.

01:36So I expect to see my overtime hours and pay on my paycheck.
