00:00UNC issues. Bold response to claim. Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordan Hudson, is banned from facility. They're clearing up the rumors.

00:11The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, has confirmed that Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordan Hudson, is not banned from UNC's football practices, despite reports that said she was not welcome.

00:24In a statement to ESPN, the school said, while Jordan Hudson is not an employee at the university or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina football facilities.

00:36Jordan will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick's personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina football and the university.

00:45The statement comes after ESPN sport writer Pablo Torre reported that Belichick's 24-year-old girlfriend would not be allowed to enter the football facilities on an episode of the Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast.

00:59On the May 9th episode, Torre shared that two sources confirmed the report and was even told,

01:05don't think you'll be hearing much from Jordan moving forward.

01:09He also shared reports that the 73-year-old UNC Chapel Hill football coach's family expressed concerns about his relationship with Hudson as well.

01:19Bill Belichick's family is extraordinarily concerned about what has transpired, Torre reported.

01:25One Belichick family source told me,

01:27there is deep worry for how detrimental Jordan can be for not just North Carolina, but Bill's legacy, reputation.

01:35Everything he has built and worked for over decades.

01:39According to TMZ, Belichick and Hudson reportedly met back in 2021 and were first spotted out together in January 2023.

01:48But the couple did not make their relationship public until June 2024.

01:54Hudson previously defended her relationship with Belichick from online critics,

01:58but the pair especially faced more scrutiny after Belichick's CBS Sunday morning interview that aired on April 28th,

02:06where Hudson interrupted after he was asked about the couple's first meeting.

02:11One of Belichick's great friend and sports legend Charles Barkley weighed in about his relationship with Hudson on April 30th and said he's concerned.

02:20From what I'm hearing, it's starting to be a very slippery slope, Barkley said during an appearance on the Dan Patrick show.

02:28And I never talk about people's personal relationships.

02:31That's another rule I got.

02:33But, I will admit, I'm a little concerned with some of the stuff that's going on, he continued.

02:39I might actually reach out to him to make sure everything's good,

02:42but I am concerned from what I'm hearing.

02:45It's not a good look, right?

02:46I'll admit that.
