00:00The U.S. and Qatar have signed a raft of agreements on the second day of Donald Trump's visit to the Middle East.
00:07The U.S. president has secured some significant investment agreements, namely the Boeing deal, which happened today.
00:15Ellie, is his charm offensive working?
00:19Leanne, thank you again for having me on.
00:21I believe this visit of President Trump, his first foreign visit in his second term to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and now Qatar, as you mentioned, and onwards to the United Arab Emirates will be deemed as one of his most important and truly successful foreign visits.
00:41Probably, I would predict, even in this second term coming up with four years really ahead of us.
00:47And the reason why, Leanne, is because the president campaigned here in the United States on an America first policy.
00:55And he is so far delivering $600 billion of investment from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and possibly up to $1 trillion.
01:04You just mentioned the Boeing deal in Qatar.
01:07There's more coming from the United Arab Emirates.
01:09And so it really helps the president achieve the prosperity he wants for the American people, the golden age that he describes it as.
01:19And also, I think he wants to bring prosperity to the Middle East and to the Gulf.
01:25He wants our allies to also succeed and to better the lives of their citizens.
01:32He wants our allies to succeed and to better the lives of their citizens.
