We’re talking to people from Newport about how expensive it can be for parents sending kids to school, from uniforms to trips, people across Wales can be spending hundreds of pounds a year for their children’s education.

00:19going up. School uniforms are always outrageous anyway, so.
00:23That's right, it is. For the people, people who are not working, I don't think they're
00:29getting meals now, well, I don't know. But when I had my clothes and small, it was very
00:36expensive. I mean, that seems to change.
00:41About when I was in school, about a year or two ago now, mum would usually pay like a
00:46uniform, about 130 quid for a uniform. School, dinner for money, it's crazy.
00:52And uni as well, it's crazy, crazy expensive. Yeah.
