Overnight storms that ripped through Northern Oakland County were quick, powerful and loud. Where lines and tress came down, some residents will be waiting until Saturday to have their power restored. WWJ's Mike Campbell was out surveying the damage, near Holly.

00:07A lot of pine trees, it looks like, knocked down as well as electric lines.
00:11Has people veering here. We're right on the curve at Bush Lake, and everybody sees these trees,
00:18and then they see this power line, and then they have to move out of the way because of the power line there.
00:24So it's a situation of certainly downed trees and damage.
00:29I haven't seen any house damage, so there's maybe some good news,
00:33and I'm told that power could be restored by Saturday morning.
