00:00You use Excel a lot throughout the day and you would like to know if there's a way to pin it to the taskbar.
00:10This way you will have quick access right here at the bottom of the screen.
00:14Would you like to know how it's done?
00:18Well, below I'm going to show you three different methods to pin the Excel shortcut to the Windows 11 and Windows 10 taskbar.
00:24Well, the first method is very simple, we just have to go here to the desktop, find the Excel shortcut and click with the left mouse button.
00:38Once we have clicked with the left mouse button, we will see that we can move it, right?
00:43Well, we drag it here to the bottom of the screen.
00:47And if you notice, now when we place it on the taskbar, it says pin to taskbar.
00:53We release it and voila, it should be pinned.
00:58If we want to unpin it, we just have to move the cursor over it and right click.
01:04This contextual menu will appear and we will click on unpin from the taskbar.
01:08Well, this would be the first method.
01:11The second is even easier.
01:13To do this, we will have to move the mouse cursor over Excel.
01:18We click and then right click and this contextual menu will open.
01:22Well, all we have to do here is click where it says pin to taskbar and we will see how it is automatically pinned.
01:33To unpin it again, right click and click on unpin from taskbar.
01:37This would be the second method.
01:40And now we are going to the third, which is also very simple.
01:46For the third, we just have to go here where it says search and we type Excel.
01:50And the best match will appear here, Excel.
01:57But now we will go here to the right and here it says open.
02:01Well, if you notice, just below there is a little arrow.
02:05If we left click on the little arrow, this menu will open.
02:08Well, it's simple, we click pin to taskbar and here we would have Excel.
02:16Again, to unpin it, right click and click unpin from taskbar.
02:20And just like that, you have learned three methods to pin Excel to the taskbar, whether it's Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8 or Windows 7.
