This is a drumming session that takes place in Malcom X park in Washington DC every sunday afternoon (almost) at summer time. Everybody's free to come and join the drums, bringing your own drum, or if asking gently with a big smile you can borrow other's.
This is absolutely nice, no social, racial, or any other kind of distinciton is made, a symbol of what America (from the point of view of a European that I am) should tend to become on day : accepting and united like it's name.
