The 6th instalment of the Nasties Review takes us to Wes Cravens 1972 classic The Last House on the Left. This is a very powerful film, so much so that it has only last year managed to gain a full uncut release in Britain. Its a tale of innocence and life stolen and the murky depths that revenge can take us to.
This is one of my favourites from the Video Nasties collection and while I can recognise how it came to be banned I feel that it was an injustice to this rather outstanding film.
