Many Black Iraqis live in poverty although many have achieved prominent position in the entertainment industry as singers and dancers. Others are found throughout all walks of life. Many activists amongst Iraqi Blacks complain that there is discrimination against them and many Black Iraqis are unable to find opportunities to improve their social condition.
