Puget Sound Matters: Detlef Schrempf Puget Sound Matters

Detlef Schrempf is a three-time NBA All Star who helped launch the Seattle Sonics to the NBA finals in 1996. Even though he's traveled far and wide in his career, he still calls Puget Sound home. Seattle is home for Detlef and his family, and he enjoys all that Puget Sound has to offer. As a boater, he's seen firsthand how pollution threatens marine life and our own health too. But he's optimistic, and believes the health of Puget Sound will improve with teamwork "I think everybody says it's that attitude that well, I can't make a difference. And I think everyone can."
