They, however, were adamant that she go to university and complete her degree. Alice was able to take a gap year in Los Angeles to pursue her dreams at the Beverley Hill Playhouse. Her soul search left her ‘fatter’ and unexpectedly jobless. In the end, she decided to go to Oxford University to read English- meeting her parents halfway. Good compromise!
