One of the local Pittsburgh farms delivered fresh mutton stew and freshly laid eggs to my doorstep this morning. That was magic. It was so easy! Green Circle Farm raises eggs, chicken, beef, lamb and turkey that are always: Soy free GMO free Raised on pasture Raised without antibiotics, hormones, pesticides, or herbicides I signed up for their email list and every week you get a little email letting you know what's available that week and where you can go pick it up. There's also an option to simply ask regarding delivery somewhere other than what's on their schedule. I did just that. I emailed erica and she got back to me, simply asking for my address and voila, today she was here with my fresh local food before noon. How awesome is that? Super great! Especially with the holiday season coming up...why not serve local produce AND support local economy (and families like you and me. Erica came with her 2 lovely little daughters in tow.)
