Innsbruck Festival of Early Music - A guitar's journey

In the 17th century, Francesco Corbetta from Bologna filled people with enthusiasm for music played on a fretboard with five courses – the baroque guitar, which originated in Spain as a rhythm and percussion instrument. However, it later conquered the music world as a virtuoso art instrument starting from Italy. Pierre Pitzl and Hugh Sandilands move from Italy back to the mother country of the baroque guitar, presenting folias and ciaconas by Sanz and his compatriots.
