When Ajit Raj, coach of NES International, Mulund accompanied his side for their first match in Mumbai Schools Sports Association’s Girls under-14 inter-school football tournament everything crossed his mind other than a victory. He wasn’t expecting a favourable outcome against St Peter’s, Mazgaon and nor did he get one as his eight-member side stumbled to a 2-0 loss thanks to a brace from centre forward Faiza Lala.
