True and False Assurance of Salvation

http://www.christian-faith.com/forjesus/ 1 John 5:10-13 has been misused to tell people who have not repented of their sins that they are safe with Jesus and have eternal life because they asked Jesus into their heart. The things John wrote that people may know they have eternal life was HIS WHOLE LETTER. You can't be in Christ while serving self and money.
