The second of the 54th Tour de Corse’s three legs lived up every bit to its promise. It had the makings of being a tough day of competition, and that’s exactly what it turned out to be. The morning’s loop saw three Peugeot 207 S2000s monopolise the provisional podium at one moment, but two of them went on to suffer problems. That, however, didn’t prevent the Peugeot Belux car of Thierry Neuville/Nicolas Gilsoul from continuing its domination. Their overnight lead is 23.4 seconds.
