Are you feeling the stigma of being out of work? What if I told you these negative associations are really just all in your head? Here are some great ideas to think about being more positive during this time in life. First, don't define yourself as an unemployed person. When someone comes up to you and asks you, "what do you do?", don't say that you're unemployed, tell them what you do for a living: "I sell securities", "I build brands for big companies." Because when you do that, you give them a chance to believe in you as a person, not as a person who is "out of work". See perception is really important and when people perceive you as being strong and confident, they are more likely to want to help you.
