Today, we are going to see how to make the basic paste for delicious cupcakes
Ruthy from Beauty Cakes is going to show you how to become a cupcake professional.
We need:
185 gr of flour
150 of sugar
2 teaspoons of baking powder
2 eggs
125 gr of melted butter
80 ml of milk
Start by breaking the eggs, and beat them a little bit. Add the sugar. And really beat them until they whiten. Add the melted butter.
The cupcake’s secret is to really well beat them and get some air into the mixture, so you get something light and smooth.
Add the milk. Then, the flour all in one time, and the baking powder. Mix and beat well, to get a consistent paste.
Our basic paste is ready. We can now put it in the pastry bag and then you just need to fill the liners to 2/3 full of batter.
Our cupcakes are ready to bake for 15 to 20 minutes, at 180°C.
Before taking the cupcakes out of the oven, make sure they are well cooked by putting a knife in the middle of the cupcake. If the end of it comes out clean, then they are ready. Here it’s clean, so we can take them out.
To flavor your cupcakes, you can add some chocolate chips, grated coconut, or some lemon to your basic batter.
You now know how to make a basic batter for cupcakes. You can decorate your cupcakes with some chocolate icing or a meringue. Find other recipes on Pratiks!
