The Same As It Never Was Before
Dee Dee Bridgewater, Lee Konitz, André Ceccarelli and Milton Nascimento figure among his many collaborations, and his first solo album, Wonderland, released in 2004, made quite an impression. Now, French jazz trumpeter, flugelhornist and drummer Stéphane Belmondo brings a quartet featuring pianist Kirk Lightsey, double bassist Sylvain Romano and drummer Billy Hart to our Festival. The new project, The Same As It Never Was Before, is sure to turn heads.
