Belize Social/Political challenge Actor/NFL great & Hall of famer Jim Brown speak on Youth empowerment.

In 1991 Nuri Akbar was invited by Actor/NFL great & Hall of Famer Jim Brown to conduct an exclusive interview at his home in the Hollywood Hills. ESPN in 2000 recognized and awarded Jim Brown the title of the "greatest football player of the century". The subject covered included the initiation of the Amer-I-can project aimed at empowering at risk youths and former gang members in Los Angeles. Since that time the Amer-I-can program has spread across the United States and to countries as far as the United Kingdom. In 2008 Amer-I-can youth empowerment project submitted a proposal to the government of Belize as a possible tool to assist in stabilizing the spiraling youth crime and violence. Nothing became of this proposal and the situation has since imploded into a national crisis with no end in sight.
