http://www.FTV.com/videos NEW YORK - Though top designer Catherine Malandrino showcased her Fall 2011 collection in a large warehouse in New York, the line was a trip back to Paris with Parisian style and menswear-inspired looks like wide leg pants, prints, oversize hats, and urban eccentricity. "It's an invitation to a promenade on the left bank of Paris," says the French-born designer. Whimsical dresses and large shades also gave it a quintessential 70s fashion meets mousy librarian with a makeover vibe. Models in print dresses, fur vests, and houndstooth stood above the crowd as they checked out the line. "It's about enjoying life with the rhythm and pulse of New York."
