Why Islam? An Audience with Paul Williams ( 1 of 2 )

Is Jesus Christ God or just a prophet? Did He ever claim to be God? Why did I choose Islam? Why I'm no longer a Christian? Brother Paul A Williams is a former Christian who converted to Islam 3 years ago. He has studied both theology and philosophy at Birkbeck and Heythrop college at the University of London. Paul research includes (but is not limited to) biblical studies, particularly the development of Christology, the historical Jesus and New Testament studies. He is also competent in biblical Greek. He is a member of the Muslim Dawah Initiative its formed of members from the Muslim community with experience in public speaking, apologetics, polemics, research and community work. Paul has been engaged a number of interfaith dialogues with various denominations of Christians.
