Feature film directed by Michel Hazanavicius
with John Goodman, Bérénice Bejo, Jean Dujardin
Famous silent film star George Valentin (Jean Dujardin) meets a young lady named Peppy Miller (Bérénice Bejo). As her roles grow larger and larger, Peppy becomes a major Hollywood star thanks to sound film, and George is ruined by producing and directing his own silent film. One goes up and one goes down, and in a perpetual move of love, the audience is just swirled with the duo into a final movie where Al Zimmer (John Goodman) indirectly reveals why George always refused to speak on camera.
