Beaches reopen after shark attack

Beaches north of Sydney, Australia reopen to swimmers after a shark attack on Wednesday.
Forty-four-year-old surfer Glen Folkard is in a stable condition in hospital, after suffering serious injuries to his upper leg.
His friends were nearby when he was attacked.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) STEVE TIDEY, FRIEND:
"We saw the trail of blood. One of the boys that paddled next to him said they saw the shark just trailing behind him."
The incident was the second such attack in the country this month.
Australia averages three shark attacks a year.
