At the beginning of 2012, Indonesia breaks its own national record for the longest musical fireworks show in Ancol Dreamland, Northern Jakarta. This beats the previous record held last year by 5 minutes. Let's check out the beauty of these fireworks.
Chairman of Indonesia Book of Records (IBOR) Paul Wienarto gives an award to the representatives of Firemaxx Bumame Indonesia, Djarum Super Mild and Ancol Dreamland in Jakarta.
The award recognizes the success of these three corporations in organizing a musical fireworks show over the sea for 25 minutes.
This new record beats the previous record held last year, when the similar event was held for 20 minutes.

"We are from the Indonesia Book of Records, recognizing this musical fireworks show as new record breaking. Because in the previous year, the musical fireworks show was only held for 20 minutes, that was the longest duration at that time. But tonight, the previous record has been beaten with the 25 minutes of fireworks."
The musical fireworks show in 2011 featured about 25 thousand individual fireworks, but this year the committee presents more than 35 thousand pieces, harmonized with music to create a beautiful musical fireworks.
The technology used this year is also more sophisticated, with a delay time between the detonation of each firework and the music of only 0.015 seconds.
It took 11 people working full time for 10 days to put together the design and choreography of the show.
