the Room have just recorded their new demo EP - Let Go. Offering life-affirming tunes driven by an underlying menace, this is a band that is really starting to find itself, impressing audiences with the power of Sharons vocals and the originality of the songs.
As with any group of four different people, influences are wide, from Animal to Elliott Smith, the Jam through Smiths, with comparisons ranging from Blondie to Joni Mitchell.
The band recorded it first official demo Close to The Edge in summer 2008, earning Empty Room airplay on Rory McConnells Radio1 Show, and an invitation to do an unplugged performance on the Kick out the Jams sessions on NVTV.
