Jean-Pierre Ponnelle (1932-1988) fut l’un des plus grands metteurs en scène d’opéra du XXe siècle. Nicolas Joel a souhaité lui rendre hommage en présentant sa production de La Cenerentola, chef-d’oeuvre de grâce souriante. Karine Deshayes, rossinienne d’exception, chante la tendre Angelina.

Jean-Pierre Ponnelle (1932-1988) was one of the greatest opera stage directors of the 20th century. Nicolas Joel wished to pay him tribute by reviving his production of La Cenerentola, a masterpiece of delightful grace. Karine Deshayes, an exceptional Rossini performer, sings the gentle Angelina. Performed at the Palais Garnier from November 26th to December 17th, 2011.
