Since her debut as an American Idol Top 12 finalist in February of 2010, Lacey has appeared as a musical guest and interview subject on Late Night with David Letterman, the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Today Show, Wendy Williams, Access Hollywood and E! She has been featured as a musical performer who has shared the stage with the likes of Christina Aguilera, Alice Cooper, Janet Jackson, Third Day and others but has also been an inspirational speaker at over 50 major inspirational events throughout the country just this year. Lacey, eager to get music out to her fans in 2011, released her debut EP "Let it Go" as an independent release. Writing, recording, and co-producing her first project has refreshingly set her apart from the usual post-idol personalities.
When asked about all of her past achievements and her future as an artist, Lacey simply replies, "Every success I may enjoy in the future will not change the person I was designed to be. As I see it, I've been blessed, but beyond musical talent, I've been blessed with health, favor, and the desire to be myself at any cost."
