How to Bake a Pound Cake

It is often difficult to pair up one's favourite food with the right kind of tea, given the many different varieties available today. I believe that like wine, Tea has the ability to enhance some of the delightful flavours in one's food. Knowing how to put it all together can really make a meal or a small bite a heavenly one! So, I'm setting about on a journey to bake, cook and pair up various foods with teas.

In this series on Baking for Tea, I'm inviting cooking and baking experts to share recipes you can try at home. In our first attempt, Baker Shruti reveals the secrets of an easy-to-make Pound Cake. Preparation and baking took 20 minutes each at my home. I recommend that you pair this delicious item up with a beautiful cup of Darjeeling Autumn Flush.
