Nintendo PlayChoice-10 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of the Nintendo PlayChoice-10 arcade cabinet, single monitor version (Donkey Kong cabinet conversion). I thought arcades were supposed to be technically superior to home consoles back in the late '80s? What's all this, then? An arcade machine that plays modified NES software? What a silly idea... until you consider that it's effective advertising for that market-dominating NES, and that third-party publishers were lining up around the block for a chance to get into one of these cabinets. Behold, the PlayChoice-10, for when you absolutely, positively need to switch between Mario 3 and Punch-Out and Rygar and Tecmo Bowl and a bajillion (read: 50) others on the fly. This video review features video gameplay and exterior footage of the Nintendo PlayChoice-10 arcade system and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
