Brazil relocates landslide victims

Brazilian authorities have said that at least 247 people have been killed, and more than 160 others are missing after mudslides last week brought widespread destruction in Rio de Janeiro.

Authorities have had to tear down many destroyed houses and relocate about 2,600 families to temporary homes.

Rio's state government says it has allocated more than $550 million to help provide the displaced families with new and permament houses.

Tom Ackerman reports.
