Anathema pays attention to 'every single little nuance'

  • 5 jaar geleden
Following last year's orchestral compilation album Falling Deeper, progressive rock band Anathema from Liverpool released their ninth studio record Weather Systems in April 2012. Working with an orchestra was so much to the band's liking, that they decided to put the new work in an orchestral jacket as well. Previously the band was assisted by producer Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree). This time around they worked with Christer-André Cederberg. Singer/guitarist Vincent Cavanagh: "Steven came in at the mixing stage, whereas Christer was there from day one. We got to pay attention to every single little nuance."
