It's a sad fact; many Hollywood marriages end in divorce.
Last last week Katie Holmes filed for divorce after 5 years of marriage to Tom Cruise. Tom is reportedly devastated. Katie has filed for full custody of the couple's five-year-old daughter, Suri.
But not all Hollywood unions end in happily never after. Let's look at some happily married Tinseltown couples.
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have been married for fourteen years, this close couple also work together. Rita coached Tom for his accent in "The Terminal", and when she produced the huge hit "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", Tom was the office gopher.
Couple number two are Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman. They met in 1978 while filming "Taxi", and have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary this year.They have three children together.
Our third couple today is Martin Sheen and Janet Templeton, who have been married an incredible 51 years this December. One of ten children, Martin almost died from a heart attack at age 39, and suffered from bouts of alcohol abuse, but their marriage has stood the test of time.
Last but not least today is the union of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas. Both share the same birthday, but Michael is 25 years older. They have been married 12 years this November. Their wedding featured a Welsh choir of forty, a six foot wedding cake and twenty thousand roses. Sounds like the setting for a fairytale wedding.
