Mega Man X2 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Mega Man X2 for Super NES, emulated as part of Mega Man X Collection on GameCube. Second verse, same as the first. That's how Mega Man games go. But, just like a singer rehearsing a song, every iteration gets a little better and a little better again. Maybe it's new features, like air-dashing, a secret-passage-finding helmet upgrade, or armor that charges toward a screen-clearing blast with each hit taken. Maybe it's a story of rescuing one's friend... in pieces. Maybe it's because when you've got platforming this good, and mechanics this tight, all you really want is MORE. I'm leaning toward the latter. This video review features video gameplay footage of Mega Man X2 for Super NES and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
