Original Abstract Art
This video belongs to a set of videos illustrating my collection of abstract art paintings.
Abstract oil paintings constitute the majority of my art work although some are created working with pencil and acrylic medium, starting with my initial works from my secondary school art classes.
I enjoy painting locations where I have traveled. A lot of the places in my abstract art paintings are of North America, Europe (Venice, Paris and Florence), Thailand and various cities in Australia. I work from my own images of the spots I have gone to.
I similarly work from a variety of photos ranging from pets, animals, vacation images, flowers or a favorite object such as a peacock feather.
My abstract oil paintings technique is achieved with a painterly approach. I employ coarse bristles and pallet knives to achieve a block-like stroke. I like using a vibrant color pallet to produce an energetic atmosphere in my original abstract art.
The style is able to be painted in photo-realism, expressionist, abstract or my personal style.
